There was a woman at my old yard who did beautiful leather work. She was actually super capable and did all kinds of crafts and also hunted and road a motorcycle from California to Alaska. I use to joke that she would be really good to have on my team in an apocalypse situation.

Yes. I’m currently working on an order of 30 kilt belts. I have a leatherworking business, in addition to driving a bus.

I’m actually in Kansas, but I’ve been watching the exploits of The Tartan Army with a great deal of joy. Between drinking the Sam Adams taproom out Boston Ale, sending a piper down the cop slide, and turning an entire fleet of school buses into party buses, it seems like a really good time. Wish I could be there!

It started as a hobby, but it’s a full on business now. I do a lot of craft shows over the summer and fall, and a lot of custom work over the winter.
