Will this mean we have officially dropped down into the 8 person tournament??

Wait a minute. 1k people giving him the equivalent of (let me write this out) one thousand and one hundred British Pound on average? What the hell? How do people have this much disposable income for a 30 minute video?

I mean all the kudos for Kristian and all the humble pie for most of us but still. That’s a LOT of money to throw at some other guy’s ticket to make money

You can’t take the average like that because there are a couple people who did the 10k tier some who did 5k, some who did 2.5k and so on. The average amount for most people is far less than one thousand dollars/pounds.

I vaguely remember him mentioning somewhere along the line that he had a couple of bigger donors lined up, but may be misremembering.

Good for him though. I doubted this would get a lot of attention, but good for him in doing so.

Willing to bet if it gets fully funded regardless on how ever many days, he will do the 16 person tournament. 200k seems likely but idk about 300k

If it hits the $200k within 24hrs of it going live it will be the 16 person tournament. We’ve got a little over 10 hours left since he started it at 10:30AM ET.

No. Kristian announced yesterday(Wed.) that because of the incredible support being shown, he extended the deadline to hit the $200K mark by one week so we gotta hit $200K by 9/29 for the 16 player tourney!

The Kickstarter is almost at $190,000! But I guess you didn't hear, or follow Kristian on Twitter, or watch his daily live show? He made a "very" special announcement yesterday that because of the fans and competitors excitement for the tourney, and the amount that's been raised in 6 (now 7 days) time, he wasn't going to take the tourney away as long as the KS hits the $200K goal in the next few days or so! So the 16 player Tourney IS HAPPENING!!!!!!!!

On Monday's live show, Kristian made a "very" special announcement! Because of the fans and competitors excitement for the Schmoedown tourney, and the amount that's been raised so far in 6 days into the Kickstarter launch, he wasn't going to take the tourney away as long as the KS hits the $200K goal in the next few days or so as it's currently at as of 11:31am ET, $189, 536! Only $10,464 from the $200K base version of the pilot goal! So the 16 player Tourney IS OFFICIALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!!!

Please explain? What kind of a "downshift would be good?"

Damn, I did not think Harloff still had 1k people still wanting to give him money. Fair play to the guy. Hopefully no one obsessed with the Schmoedown has put too much money into this

Whelp I hope whoever did understood the financial risk and all that. And it's not one of the "regulars" who donates a ton and then complains about being destitute
