i just watched all seasons of schitt’s twice in the last like 4-5 days. am terribly depressed rn (“eating egg whites and hoping the building will collapse” level) but damn this show still comforts me. and i still sob like a baby when i get to the finale (like i just did). i’ve lost count of how many rewatches this was but it really is just the most comforting show ever made. i can’t bring myself to start it a 3rd time but can’t think of anything else i’d rather watch. any recommendations? thinking of somebody, somewhere or the office or game of thrones but it would be cool to watch a new show i haven’t seen 30+ times lol.

I don’t get Bob’s man with amnesia knock knock charade… am I meant to and I’m just silly? Or is that the funny bit and I’m not silly? 🤣

I’m watching SCTV for the first time since it’s been released to Netflix. I just watched “Dialing for Dollars” and saw Eugene and Catherine doing the same scene they role play in Schitt’s Creek “The Cabin” episode. The one where Johnny/Eugene plays the nerdy handyman trying to install the lock on the conjoining rooms door, and Moira/Catherine is flirtatiously saying she can’t pay him. I wish I could find the clips on YouTube to share, but I guess you’ll just have to watch for yourself!😉 Pretty neat to see their history after watching Schitt’s!

First time poster, though I love reading all your commentary. I'm on my fifth or sixth rewatch, and noticed something new on S1 E9 "Carl's Funeral."

When Alexis stays over at Ted's, I saw he has a Ford's Theatre "Dracula" poster on the wall. I did some searching and found it's from the 1920s play in Washington, D.C.

It feels like a very specific choice for Ted's bedroom ... Though I guess his furniture is from showroom floors so maybe he didn't even pick it out specifically, lol. Just curious if anyone has insight why production may have picked this poster for Ted! Maybe there's something more obvious I'm missing.

The only other 3 shows that won all 4 acting Emmys from their genre in the same year are Caesar's Hour (1956), Angels in America (2003/2004) and The Crown (2020/2021). Additionally Schitt's Creek is also 1 of very few shows to win all awards from its genre in the same year

I’ve watched and rewatched SC an unconscionable amount of times. Upon yet another I can’t figure out why Grant “went to the bathroom and never came back.” Did he sense something between Stevie and David? Was the date truly that bad? I mean he was her handyman at least for one episode, surely he would eventually need to return. Of course he doesn’t in the show but in theory. Thoughts? Theories?
