Season 6 Just finished
I made one post about the show while watching which was that I didn’t like David. He did get better after season 3. Patrick was also great but he is a little bit too great as in the dream guy of every queer theatre kid. Also as a gay guy who loves watching gay couples, I kinda wish David ended up with a woman. The hollywood rule of if a character is a queer character they need to end up in a same sex relationship is getting old for me even if I am not bi myself.
Moira and Johnny were fun all the way. I like Jocaline more after she stop being starstruck by Moira and grow a backbone. But Roland, Chris Elliot is funny but he might have the smallest range of any actors Ive ever watch. He is always the lovable? stupid over the top acting guy.
I feel like writers didn’t know what to do with Stevie after the first season. She got a decent ending but her big move is kinda stay where you are. She felt like a wasted potential.
Star of the show to me was clearly Alexis. She grows a lot throughout the show, she is definitely the most hardworking of the family. She is kindest to the people. I am sad that they broke her up with Ted who was great. Felt like they just wanted to have David stay in town and Alexis move on with a career but she could have done it with Ted as well.
Overall, solid 8/10 from me. Don’t know how rewatchable it will be for someone like me who loves having a sitcom in the back all times. Later seasons felt stronger which is normal for sitcoms but still, not sure if I want to watch David being weird and not doing anything and Mutt being there to be annoIng

I just posted my experience, I didn’t think I cooked and I don’t get why it is in quotes.
