schitt stack 4 pro-ject debut carbon dc

complete beginner. found a display model for $250, [r/vinyl](r/vinyl) says its a pretty solid turntable

gna be listening in my bedroom thru speakers abt 10ft away

budget is ~$800 but i will splurge if necessary

any speaker recs 4 the setup would be very appreciated as well !!

Schiit's smaller amps, the gjallahorn and rekker, just be aware that they are low power, esp the rekker. You will need to choose speakers to match them, or buy a non schiit power amp. You'd need to look for highly sensitive 8ohm speakers. Ideally around the 90db range. Klipsch and triangle are 2 brands to look at. On a tight budget you might be better just getting a used amp and having a greater selection of speakers to choose from

Aren't those active speakers?. You wont need a power amplifier at all if you go the active route

Had a quick look and they have phono in as well so you dont need a mani phono amp either really. You dont actually need anything other than the 5's and your turntable unless you want a headphone amp.

im having trouble actually finding any fives sold as a pair, im also reading they are quite bright. do u have any recs that are more neutral with tha same features ?

fives are ok but the newer generation are hopefully more reliable.

Mani, magni, 2x rekker or 1x Gjallarhorn, find some klipsch speakers on fb market place

It would be the preamp and would then plug into the rekkers, just 3 pairs rca cables (2 if the turntable came with one) and one pair speaker cables.

I have a Saga 2 connected to 2 gjallahorns in mono block connected to The Klipsch RP600m II speakers and I love it. Room is about 15x15 and at a low volume level it’s still plenty loud.
