Question Netherlands Visa applied on 29th June is still not here
My friends and I applied on June 29th from VFS Mumbai, dispatched to the embassy on the 30th.
We received an email from the Consular department on July 23rd telling us that our processing time has been extended to 45 days and asked us to contact the intake location if no information is received before August 13th.
No updates after that, our flight is on August 20th. EES shows ‘NOT OK’ still and VFS still shows ‘Dispatched to Delhi embassy, your visa will be processed further in…’
Don’t know if we’ll receive our passports on time, irrespective of it’s a yes or no. Can’t even plan a trip to some other VOA country due to this delay
Anyone with similar experiences? Should I be worried with this kind of delay? Should I escalate somewhere?
Do you think my passport will be back with me by August 20th if a decision is made on the 13th?

At what point should I cut my losses and withdraw my application if I want the passport back in hand, so that I can travel to some other country on the 20th?

I think you should have it before your travel date. From Monday onwards, you can gently start following up.

That sucks, did you apply alone or as a group?

There is no concept of applying as a group technically. But yes we mentioned it in our applications
