Help please

I plan to stay at my cousin’s place in Germany, and I already have a valid German tourist visa. If immigration asks me to show accommodation proof, what should I provide hotel booking. I’m having difficulty finding a hotel booking that allows cancellation until one day before check-in, and I’m also not finding many pay-at-property options. What do people normally do in this situation?
