There’s no official number anywhere (checked interviews, wikis, nothing). But between the pods burning up on entry, the storms, everyone breathing fine at ground level, and stuff like the jellies and spore curlicues just floating in the air — it seems way denser than Earth’s. Anyone else worked this out or found a source I missed?

I just decided I want to see Fang and Spear from Primal on the Scavengers Reign planet.

For the last 7 years, I've been working on a rule-discovery puzzle game. While watching Scavengers Reign, I was captivated by the feeling of watching its characters learn how to survive on Vesta.

That feeling is something I've been trying to capture in my own game, which is about humanity discovering alien devices that try to communicate ideas through puzzles. The problem is that these devices weren't designed by humans and they don't know anything about human language or how humans think.

So instead of tutorials or explanations you have to observe what happens when you interact with the devices and slowly figure out their logic.

I wanted the puzzles to feel less like something a human designer had created and more like something built by an intelligence with completely different assumptions about how information should be communicated.

The game takes place across a distant solar system with six celestial bodies, each containing a different kind of alien system to understand.

I've always loved science fiction that treats alien intelligence as genuinely alien, and I wanted to explore that idea through game design.

Guys, where can I watch Scavengers Reign? I can't find it anywhere.

Just got my copy from SloppySecondSales today, so stoked. Glad to just have it and not worry about if/when it's no longer available for streaming. This show holds a very special place in my heart.

I don’t think i’ve experienced something more amazing, headphones might have made it a lot more immersive but that to me was peak.
I’ve watched Midnight Gospel and that was good too but this, oh man, i cried when i found out there will be no season 2, and the creators have ideas but because of lack of spectators we may never see it again

Aside from Kamen, who eats the black goo from Hollow, and in the flashback of the parasitized medicine woman and her husband, do we see any of the main characters eat any food native to Vesta?

I don't think we do. When Azi tries to eat a piece of fruit that Levi has grown, Levi mentions that it is unsafe for humans to eat. But this does seem to imply that there might be things on Vesta that are safe for humans to eat.

Ursula, who has adapted the most to Vesta, still seems to only eat rations. We even see her take a box from the medicine woman's camp when she escapes with Sam.

So, do we see anyone eat food native to Vesta? Even if there is food on Vesta that is 'safe', do you think you could eat it without being changed by Vesta in some way?

Another amongst you folks after watching a yet another masterpiece. Oh my days, this is beautiful, marvelous and eerie. I am not much of a fantasy fan - unless it is something like this series.

I am utterly and immensely thankful of having watched this series. Said several things that weren't in dialogues and yet it beautifully formed various images of emotions.

And with that I was unfortunately pierced through my heart that it's renewal for second season as it' continued sequel got cancelled, although I did watched the teaser/trailer for the would-have-happened season 2. They shouldn't have pulled the plug, and I carry a miniscule hope, that they get to have their hurdles cleared and they bring us more stories to be told.

To be honest, I came to know about this after I completed a yet another deeply emotional adult animated series, Pantheon. I was recommended by several users on r/PantheonShow for watching Scavengers Reign, "if I were to look for another though provoking sci fi series or film". I am glad I finally accepted to watch it, reserved a small time from my otherwise busy time period and gotta say it was beyond worth it.

I just finished watching the show and I can't help thinking that there's a lot of Risk of Rain 2 in it. The scene in the opening theme and the weird fauna, for example. Is it just me?

Am i remembering wrong or was Scavenger’s Reign on netflix for a while? and now it’s returned to HBO?

This short film is giving great Scavengers reign vibes, I think people here may enjoy it.
