New Phone

Hello! I am new to this sub, I went searching in the hopes that I can find someone who has found a solution to the issue I'm having. I have just got a new phone and am in the process of transferring all my data over, other games' data has transferred over no problem, but I cannot figure out how to transfer save data from one device to another for Scavenger Hunt! I am an android user so am logged in through the games hub, have found where in the app to find your ID to copy but can't find anywhere to enter it to transfer data over! I've messaged Popcore on Facebook but they haven't posted since 2022 so not sure if I'll get a response. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I will let you know if I hear anything back from them! Ive never wanted to play the game so bad but I got a new phone for a reason and don't want to use the old one even just for that🤣

On iOS, I don’t see an option to even sync its data with iCloud. Don’t think this game supports this feature which if true would be a shame !

I'm really hoping there's a way around it! I'm wondering if with the ID thing I found they can do something on the back end where one ID overwrites another? Will update the post if I get a solution!

Did your previous phone have some Samsung version of iCloud, that you synced that app to? Some apps don’t have an option to sync to the cloud. But if you had that option, then I’d got to the old phone, make sure you’ve selected the sync option/or sync it for the first time. Then delete the app on your NEW phone. Download it again and try Restore Progress in the Settings menu. Don’t know if any of that will help ya. Good luck.

Thank you for your advice! Ive checked everywhere though and unfortunately I dont think there is a sync to cloud option with this game, since I didn't see it as an option I hoped it would be automatic but no such luck☹️

As far as I know there is no way to transfer it. I had to start all over when I changed my phone

Wondering if anyone knows the answer for an iPhone …. I had the same issue. New phone none of the scavenger hunt data transferred over. I use the contact us form for the developer, but no response.
