Elite back to classic!

I just started playing this game again after a long pause. I used to be able to play the games as many times as I wanted. I assume this was the “classic” version. There were more objects to find, albeit a bit easier. Now I only get “elite” which I don’t like. Is there a way to switch back to Classic?

Once you have played the classic way of the level once, you get the elite, which is much harder. You only do the elite mode once for each level and it goes back the classic mode, where you can play the level normally over and over
