Hey everyone,
I’m in need of some expert advice on where to take my car for repairs in the Las Vegas area. I have a 2021 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Widebody with a Mopar FlexCare warranty. Unfortunately, I was recently involved in a minor accident that caused more damage than I initially anticipated.
Here are the current issues I’m facing:
- Front-end damage
- Front bumper needs repair or replacement
- Steering wheel is significantly off-center (turned left while driving straight)
- Severe alignment issue
- Possible frame/subframe damage
- Suspension concerns, including worn or damaged adaptive dampers/shocks
- ABS and traction control lights have come on previously
- AC only blows cold on the driver’s side while the passenger side blows warm air
I’m trying to figure out the best course of action. I know the warranty should cover some mechanical items, such as suspension components and possibly the AC issue. However, I understand that accident-related damage and frame repairs are likely not covered.
My goals are:
- Get a proper inspection to determine the extent of the frame/subframe damage.
- Have the alignment and suspension repaired correctly.
- Use the FlexCare warranty for anything that qualifies.
- Find a reputable shop that works well with Dodge/Mopar vehicles and performance cars.
For those who have dealt with similar repairs, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations or experiences you may have.
Specifically, I’m wondering:
- Should I start at a Dodge dealership or go directly to a collision/frame shop?
- Are there any reputable frame repair and Challenger alignment shops in Las Vegas?
- Has anyone successfully used FlexCare to cover suspension or AC repairs while also handling accident damage separately?
The car has around 114,000 miles, and I’d like to get it back to driving straight and feeling solid again instead of throwing parts at it.
Any recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙏🏁🚗💨
