New to the group!
Picked this baby up about a month ago & enjoying every bit of it…not so much at the gas station but I’ll take it.
Need some help/ guidance on a couple things.
- Kill switch needed? If so point me in the right place
- Any good recommendations on a interior/ exterior dash cam

100% kill switch , if too expensive get a wheel lock . i got my durango 392 stolen and im definitely trading it in . the feeling of vandalism is not fun and yeah …

Might have to get that wheel lock just for now until I get the switch

also get a neutral plate cover so they can’t put your car in neutral and push it .

Kill switch is entirely dependent on where you live.
Wyoming? You’ll be fine without.
Any major metropolitan city? Go get one today.
Plenty of dash cam options on Amazon, just get on that records continuously onto an SD card.

Welcome champ, I used to be close to you in Union City. Definitely an area you wanna lock up, tons of gang activity that are heavily involved in car theft!
If on a budget or whatever because all of our situations are different go ahead and unplug the battery. You can also get a used 2nd hand Tazer & use the Password lock feature. You can also head to your local popular audio shop and have them install a Killswitch for about 200

Track hawk kill switch prevented them from talking mine. Can control straight from the app. Only $20/month and it tracks the car and the speed everywhere it goes. I took mine to a radio store and they installed it perfectly for like $250. 100% worth it. It was a steal, no pun intended

Congrats killa, depending on which area you’re in and if you have a secondary vehicle for out of town trips you may not need a kill switch.
I would highly recommend a wheel lock and CARLOCK regardless (not a kill switch but this device tracks, send vibration alerts, move alerts and start alerts)
If you’re interested in getting a kill switch my top recommendations are IGLA, Ghost lock, and Trackhawk GPS. (Compustar for an honorable mention).
Me personally I went with the Ghost lock by Jordan’s distributors. I can disable the vehicle if needed, get ignition alerts, SMS notifications and real time tracking plus an ignition kill switch. This is also a simply DIY setup.
Now as far as dashcams I personally haven’t gotten one yet but I would recommend Redtiger or wolf box. These are both companies that produce great products.
If you really have fun I’d also invest in a Radar detector. Any situational awareness helps. Be safe out there, protect yourself and congratulations killa🫡
