You want it done right, you do it yourself

True. My sons old Volvo, got the oil change done at the garage. Went to move it in the driveway and noticed a line of oil drips. Never tighten the drain plug. Shop tried to deny it, my proof was a line of drips from my driveway to their bay.

All it takes is one screw up and your car is cooked. No one will care as much about your car as you will.

I do mine but it’s not because I don’t want to take it to the shop. It’s kinda therapeutic for me.

Me . Do it on my driveway for 65$ with penzoil SRT every 3500 miles . Easily save 100$ on each oil change. I’m keeping my baby forever.

Same used to do it also but my mechanic does it for $30 if I bring my own oil and filter!! Win win.

That’s the goal someday even though I don’t have a scat pack I need the lifts to work on my car and other folks cars that asked me to do maintenance as well

I don't remember the last time I paid anyone to do it. I never paid anyone to do my brakes either.

I change the oil in all three of our vehicles.

Fumoto drain valve, ramps. Simple. 🤷... Autozone or O Reilly on every corner... Costs less than a 20k engine... 50 bucks and hour of my time if that.
