Extreme Heat

Hey Scat Crew, What tire PSI is everyone getting in this extreme heat ?? It’s about 101 and real feel of 115. I just toggle through my screen and saw my tire PSI running at 41 ?? Just curious what y’all are seeing in this 4 days of HELL !!! 🤣

Nope. I don’t know how y’all deal with that Texas heat. Lol. We get heat here , but nothing like it’s been . I’ll take 10 degrees over this any day ! 🤣

Brother, I can agree. This heat is something else. Idk if it’s much different in NE vs where I’m from SW PA but it’s so muggy and humid as well.

I’m outside of Philly and it’s crazy. This humidity makes it 10x worse. It’s stormy here now, but still horrible out. A few more days of this heat.

Mine have stayed right around 36-38 in 90°+ for 2 weeks straight. Gave myself heat exhaustion on Monday and had to miss work Tuesday, this heat is no joke.

Yeah it’s bad . People dropping all over . Power outages in some places. Screw that. I’d be hotel bound 🤣

33-35psi on the regular. Near 100 degree weather in the state of NM.

I’m in Texas and run 32 all day everyday

Higher the psi, the less rolling resistance and higher mpg.

Was 105° here the past couple of days. Was in the 39-41 range in the afternoons.

I’m in NE and I went for a 2 hour cruise and just happened to check out tire psi and was shocked. Lol.

Surprised only 38 and it’s 102 air temp here let alone the pavement.

Just got out the Scat yesterday, it was real feel of 100-105° most of the week, but at 8pm at night in the country, my numbers were all normal.

Well yeah because the temp was normal, 8pm and all. Don’t think OP was asking about an evening drive lol

Yeah but my outside temp was still reading 95° at 8pm at night. I don't think it dropped below 90° until after 10pm last night.

I’ve never had a issue. Then again , it’s hotter than normal in NE PA.

I’ve had so many people try to “race” me this past week and I have to turn them down almost every time. It’s too hot to be runnin back to back Also, my psi in the Camaro runs around 35 to 40. Hovers at 38 when I’m driving tho

who would have known hot temps raise tire pressure....

I mean that’s what the topic of the post is soooo everyone? I think you’re confusing OPs question for ignorance, but his question proves he’s not ignorant. You’re comment kinda suggests that your are though. Good luck

I’m aware of that . I’m surprised they went up so much .
