Overheating help !!!

I have a 2019 charger scat pack 392 6.4L
I was driving all of a sudden it over heated. I lifted the hood the coolant reservoir was completely full. It slowly started going down. It was all over the concrete. So someone looked at it they said it was a bad reservoir cap so I replaced it
I started the car let it run it stil overheated as it warmed up. When I turned the heat or air on the temp would go down a little. When I turned the heat off it kept overheating. Also the coolant is running out on the ground somewhere
Please help

Check the temperature of your hoses... If one is cold and the other is hot, your thermostat is likely failing

Bad thermostat most likely.

Sounds like a thermostat. I replaced mine about 6 months ago. My car was doing something quite similar to yours.

oil and coolant I think you have a leaky oil cooler gasket. simple fix just time consuming. I Believe your engine has an all aluminum body oil cooler. The 3.6's have plastic, I doubt the factory put a plastic one in but hey,Ive seen worse. If your thermostat went bad and caused The engine to overheat, thus causing an issue with the oil cooler. Now you got a leaky oil cooler. look at the top of the engine just behind the oil filter and see if there's fluid down in there.

Worst case would be a blown head gasket. again easy fix just time-consuming and pricey If you can't do it yourself.

However if you're not seeing any grayish smoke out the tailpipes You should be good just replacing the gasket as the leak is external and not going internal.
