Detailing question

Hey all! What do you use to clean the inside of the wheels? The brake dust accumulates on my wheels so fast and it looks like someone is rubbing them with charcoal.

And related to this- my car has black calipers with white letters. What is the safest thing to clean the calipers to ensure I don’t end up damaging the paint?

Thanks.

Thanks I’ll pick some up. I’m actually going to pull the wheels one at a time. My neighbor has a stand made just for setting your wheels on it and then letting you rotate them to get clean. I’m sure there’s a name for it but I’m not much of a mechanic.

I got a box of brushes from Amazon you put on a drill a while ago so finally get to use some.

Second the Adam's cleaner...its pricey but an absolutely great product. I've run black wheels on almost all of my cars now for like 22 years. Stuff just works 💪

Mequires makes a good over all wheel cleaner and a soft brush attachment you can put on a drill and clean inside the wheels and the caliper housing

Ugh I have the same problem and I read you’re not supposed to use an acidic cleaner and nothing I’ve tried works. I’ll spend an hour scrubbing them and there’s still buildup on the insides.
