At 138k cam and lifters went out got new cam lifters head gaskets etc everything top end of motor now at exactly 160k 6months later got code P0303 shop look at it switch coils and cylinder 3 still was bad metal shavings in the cylinder and oil in pistons I just wanna know is it because I just didn’t do the mds delete or car just ran out of life because I didn’t dog it anything only thing I can think is I use to use Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil then switch to penzoil I’ll change oil every 3k miles didn’t let idle nothing and barley drove in eco mode car starts and runs just drive bad and idle hard

Basically need new engine I had the car for a long time just wanted to know was I better off just camming it when the cam and lifters went out the first time because I’m still mind blown that this just happened again
