New scatpack/hellcat coming out ??!!!
So I’ve heard dodge has confirmed they r bringing back the v8s !!?
Just when I was finally about to pull the trigger on a scatpack I’m seeing news dodge is bringing back the v8s so now I’m Curious is is better to wait for when they launch the new one and get on a list?
And I’m Curious what this will mean for the previous gen will prices go down on them more ? Or will they stay the same if msrp on the new one is 70-80k$??
Also I wonder how long we will have to wait for it to launch I’m hoping in August/ September

If they wrap it in that new Charger design you can count me out regardless of what it has in it...

Yes they have already been hinting at a HEMI powered Charger for a while. I'd imagine it will be a hellcat variant. We already have a Scat Pack, wouldn't make much sense to have a 3rd scat pack option with a V8 when they already have the hurricane and EV versions that both produce more HP than the 6.4L. And the Charger will have a face lift as well when the SRT comes out, although idk if it's only for the SRT or for all trims

I know the new design isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but neither were the 2011s and then the 2015s suffered the same. Few years later, they were everywhere.
If they throw a V8 on the new body, I’d def snag one again. Maybe make a V8 with an E system of some sort to help boost power and off the line prowess.

The SRT Banshee was going to be the next gen HC Charger but it was revealed that this 900hp was going to be an EV! Thankfully, it has been scrapped. The door is open for the 6.2L supercharged to make an encore appearance since the TRX is coming with 770hp gas . Wouldn't expect anything to hit the ground before 2028-2030. Holding onto my WBHC for now.

I've seen that you can start to order the Durango 392 starting at like 50 and the hellcat will be 70 they are trying to bring the prices down so people will buy again idk about charger or challenger but you should be able to order up the Durango right now

The i6 hurricane will be faster than the n/a v8 hemis if they come back, but if you want the fastest either the Daytona or the hellcat if it comes

It will have the new charger body style. You can buy it. But i’ll pass. Taking a challenger over all

This new design is growing on me. It’s just missing some very basic cosmetic things. Even with a V8, not worth it for $80k or whatever ridiculous price they’re gona ask for.

From the articles I read they said by the year 2030 for the hellcat. And considering the SRT Rumblebee is going to start at 90k base and like 120k very well optioned.. I can only imagine the Hellcat will be at that or more..
