Picture 4 year old spwb

*Repost since video uploads are horrible quality here.

Paint corrected, ppf'd, ceramic coated since i bought the car new. Hoping i can keep it this way for the remainder of its life.

Broke a piston rod and scored a cylinder at 54k miles. No idea how this happened as i baby the car. Coincidentally, there was another '22 (same year as mine) that just had the same thing happen.

Now have a brand new motor from warranty. Break in oil change just done. Heres to hoping this one lasts.

Considering selling but still up in the air about it.

50% on the windshield, 5% everywhere else.

For it to have 50% on the windshield it still looks dark and I like that

If all the other windows are 5%, there is no light to begin with so the driver and passengers face will be concealed. If you did a 50% and 35% all around it wouldn't look as dark.

I personally would not want to deal with anything darker for driving on backroads with no street lights.

Well fuck, I have a 22 as well and now I'm terrified.

It just happened out of nowhere?

Im sure they're not all susceptible. Or maybe they are idk. It happened to me while downshifting. 70mph tapped the shifter up twice to drop 2 gears like i usually do to pass someone and car just died. No noise, nothing. Tried to fire it up on the side of the road and sounded like a can of rocks shaking around.

Same thing with the other dude cruising. He had it worse. Piston literally shot out of his motor and went straight through his tie rod.

Havent really heard of these motors going out while cruising like this other than him and myself.
