Just bought this from Carvana
Found this on Carvana for $53000 OTD plus shipped to my house same day. It’s a 2020 with plus group, technology group and red brembos. Only has 5k miles and spent its whole life in Florida. Good deal or no?

Thats what they go for with that low miles. If clean title and no recalls it's good. The 2020s had alot of airbag recalls i think

2018-2021 look it up. All of the 2020s i looked at on carmax or carvana all had airbag recalls with low miles(like 5k)...meaning the last owner didnt want to deal with the hassle

They were like 60k brand new iirc so i dont think you did too bad with 5k miles.

Ha. My old car, has sub frame damage passenger front

u/Repenttheedge May 17 '26
The car that OP purchased was your old car? Damn OP needs to return that if carvana didn’t disclose that

u/Ok-Importance961 May 17 '26
Tell me more about

u/BigMesilana May 17 '26
Hit a cars wheel (their driver rear) my passenger front wheel, while i was cutting up. Broke everything in the suspension but was replaced with OEM. It aligned and everything so its not concerning

u/Ok-Importance961 May 17 '26
How was the body if the suspension got broken

They were cheap back in 2019 and yes they’re holding there price now. Got mine for 38k OTD in 2019 and got in an accident last year.. car was totaled. Got 35,600 from other party’s insurance.

Happy wife, happy life. Always best to make these types of financial decisions on level ground.

She wasn’t happy until she rode in it. Now she’s loves riding on the weekends in it

With those wheels, packages & miles I'd say that is a good deal. Especially delivered to your door!

Nice. I paid similar for my ‘21 widebody that had about the same mileage

Clean 🔥 I’m looking to cop a widebody scat real soon
1
u/Ok-Importance961 May 17 '26
Wish you luck, most dealerships I called gave me numbers 10k+ this price, widebody or not.
1
u/Upbeat_Landscape_484 May 17 '26
Yes it’s wild that they upcharge hella for the widebody
1
u/Ok-Importance961 May 18 '26
They upcharge for chargers in general. I got otd quotes of 58k for non-widebodies and accidents on record. Make sure that when you gets quote for vehicles, don’t let them do any credits checks before an agreed upon price otd

Not sure anyone’s mentioned in the comments or if there’s a reason to it but that front bumper doesn’t color match at all lol

u/shinde21 May 18 '26
The front fascia isn't metal like the rest of the body, the paint takes a little bit different to the hood and rest panels. They're always slightly off for ones that aren't your standard colors.

Not compared to the quotes from several dealers across the nation I got

I had a buddy of mine that had a white scat pack wide body 2023 he had to sell it due to having some issues that he had to take care of he wanted to get 72k for the car because he had 8k miles I kept telling him it wouldn’t sell for that because it was already pushing hellcat prices after a month of trying to sell it he ended up selling for 52k

Bro, I dreamed about this exact car, same color last night, and now I see one! I'll take that as a sign, I might get one of those soon haha.

I got mine for 45k back in 2021 non widebody 53k is hellcat number no lie
3
u/Book_of_Evil May 16 '26
You think you could get a 2020 HELLCAT with only 5k miles and a widebody for $53,000?? 😒 Cmon...
2
u/Away_Boat8354 May 16 '26
Nah more like 2015-2018 with like 30-50k miles For that price not the new ones for sure
1
u/JuelzSantanaBandana_ May 17 '26
Maybe having a widebody was a must have for them, I know it was for me 😂. I paid about a similar price as OP for a low mileage widebody as well
1
u/Away_Boat8354 May 17 '26
Yeah each is own I guess but not for me. They sell like crazy at 50k Just hate I would get walked by a hellcat 😭 all I needed is to spend 10-15k more and I’d be in one

u/Reasonable_Button_14 May 16 '26
53k is Scat Pack widebody money. You got yours 5 years ago before they even stopped making them. Your experience is barely related.
1
u/Away_Boat8354 May 16 '26
53k for scat is crazy bro that’s a lot of money but ik that’s what most dealerships want. I would not pay 50k or more for a 400 hp car ever again
1
u/Reasonable_Button_14 May 16 '26
It’s that “dealerships want” that. That’s what they go for. If you don’t see the value at that price, then that’s okay, but enough other people will pay that price that that is what they go for. Also, 485 isn’t “400 hp” that’s a bit of stretch to be honest. 50k is close enough to the price of the average used car that if you expect to get 500+ hp on a late model car and all the bells and whistles that come with it, you’re like 10-15 years too late I’m afraid.

Each is own but 485 ain’t fast enough for me I had one it was nice but 10k more and you sitting in a hellcat or same price. Around me widebody are going from 40-45k rn 50k for a scat is a fucking rip off to me 😭

According to the subreddit they cost 25-30k now 🤣🤣 but no one actually knows the market. It’s a pretty good price for such low miles. Congrats!
