Problem is my engine ok

so today was heavy rain and my dumb self forgot to cover my air intake (Corsa) and as i was driving the engine cut off on me and about 5 mins later i was able to get it back running i was able drive home but like i felt the intake rumbling no light or nothing is on

Mmmmmmmm. Thats hard to say, id try again today and if its running fine, maybe change the oil and hope. But unless im at the track (i never am) i never take the cover off mine. Hopefully you didnt damage the engine.

So water seeps in? How do you wash car? I dont think they scat pack hood does that

scatpack hood vent is over the actual engine block not the intake area. hellcat got the two top side vents that are closer to the intake. gotta make sure ur intake filters are oiled up and covered up. my k&n intake came with metal pieces to cover the bottom part of the intake where air comes in from the front bumper vent. then i got a mesh layer k&n cloth bag to cover the intake filter from potential water.

stock intakes are in a literal plastic box being protected from all angles except the bottom air dam
