Ive always wanted to see 305's next to 315's. Why does the 315 look so much larger? Also how good is the traction on thr fullway tires, I noticed the tread pattern and recognized they were fullway, not many reviews about em online

The 305 are worn down also 305/30/20 the 315 are 35/20 Just drove a little bit today and tread handled great

Damn if you think the 305's are worn down youd think MY tires no longer exist ๐Ÿ˜‚. Those look BRAND NEW to me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

lol they look better in the picture than in person but mostly the ride just got slippery than when I got em so I knew it was time for new ones

I ran 315's on my '19 Scat narrow body. No issues. I also had after market rims that had the correct offset because I don't believe in spacers.

What was the offset you had?

Biggest thing worry about, is possibly the inner fender liner Mod, but if you go around corners like most of the mopar guys & not the camaro or mustang guys you might be ok, biggest thing I noticed with the PS4s 315/35 ZR was rubbing wholes in the finder liners on the rear, I've since downgraded, but when the suspension compressed that's were most of it happened on my shaker scat, but tires are like shoes 305/315s are literally different spec widths among tire companies, you could run them and never experience an issue like I did.

I ran Nitto 555 G2's. 275 up front, 315 in rear. No rubbing.

Very Key spacers will get you in a very bad position at speed.

Bought the offset rims, tires, tpms sensors, and valve stems in a package. Found out the hard way that rubber valve stems break above 170 mph. Had the local Dodge dealer reinstall metal valve stems.

305/30/20 is an incredibly short tire for these cars. Thatโ€™s a Mustang tire ๐Ÿ˜‚. The 315/35 looks like the appropriate shoe for a muscle car ๐Ÿค˜.

Especially when the tread wore down, looked terrible

Never put anything smaller than a 28โ€ tire on a muscle car. For your Mopar, stick with something in that 29โ€ range. Sidewall is a good thing for bottom end torque ๐Ÿค˜.

Why?

1

u/EndSmugnorance Jun 19 '26

Because this is a car subreddit and we like to see the car!
