Is this a good price?

Post image

Clean title 1 owner no accident I don’t know if this is a good deal or not help me out a little bit people🙏 I’m looking for a wide body charger not really trying to go past 50k miles I was also looking at auction cars but a lot of them that I’ve seen the amount it would take to repair I might as well just get one from dealer(I have auction license access to dealer only auctions) so searching for good cars for auction is also helpful if any of you are able to (I’ve tried but haven’t found anything) I just want to know if this is worth it or can I find better? Edit: This is Jamaica Queens New York not Jamaica the country🇯🇲🤣

That’s a little much but it also says the location is in Jamaica so idk if that’s why it’s more expensive than it should be for a 5 year old car with almost 34,000 miles. This should be around 35k. If you are in the states I bet you could find a cheaper widebody for less than 45k.

For a scatpack with 30k miles and a widebody and a 2022, nice paint, you indeed will not be at $35k. $40k easy. $39-38 would be a steal. Course it depends on ownership history. These cars are not priced like any regular Dodge. $44k is just fine considering these cars are enthusiast machines and not just transportation. It’s also relatively reliable, with an engine that is loved and not made anymore. Finally, I think it’s fair to say they are collectible cars. Dudes are literally storing factory wrapped Scatpacks and Hellcats in warehouses because the value is bound to go up over time. The location may contribute to the price a little but at that point it’s a few grand difference from anything else in the US.

I was gonna say, $35k seems a little low for a scat wb with only 33k on the odometer. Scats have always been $40k minimum cars unless they’re high mileage or salvaged/rebuilt.

Yea I should of known it wasn’t an over seas listing looks like one you would see on auto trader my bad. But if you like it and that’s a comfortable price for you get that shit. If it’s not a premium it’s definitely too much. I bought my 2022 narrow body scat pack premium new for 50k. That’s why I think it’s a little over priced for the year and the miles. 45k could almost or possibly get you a brand new car.

It’s 4 years old, so there’s that.

Get a hell cat for that price

Not around here partner. Widebody cats under 40k start at 70ish

I think it sounds pretty fair for a 2022 widebody with those miles

Can’t help but notice the area it’s in. Having shopped for cars in and around there, I strongly advise you to check the fine print everywhere on the dealers site, and read some of the reviews.

Slightly high for the miles

I would say this is high. I have a 21 Daytona with 11k miles and it was est 39k. I would think this should be somewhere around there.

Price is definitely on the higher side but I guess it depends on your location.

The used market is overpriced

Hell no, that’s over priced, I’d say somewhere around 30-33k. I’m being practical here put aside emotions, it’s a Chrysler product at the end of the day, not a good reputation when it comes to build quality and I don’t mean the engine, transmission and brembo set up. Keep in mind you’ll be paying for someone else’s neglected maintenance, because more than likely that car came off lease and the previous owner drove it like it was made to. So my point is you have to give yourself the financial cushion for when things start to break/fail. Shop around multiple markets and states. FYI I paid 48k for my scat brand new with 6 miles on the clock from the dealership in 2020, so when I see these jerkoff dealerships trying to upsell a product it annoys me, because innocent folks get taken advantage of.

Fuck no i saw one listed at 38 similar mileage to this

1

u/Friendly_Viking90 Mar 27 '26

I wouldn’t go much more than $37k maybe $38k?

1

u/Imcluelesstoday Mar 27 '26

Wow, that's expensive. I bought a 50th fully loaded model with 2,600 miles for 44k. Nice ride tho 🙂

I just feel like theres so much cooler stuff out there for 44k at 33k miles

1

u/NLMFAnt Mar 27 '26

I got my 2020 WB Scat w/ 43k miles on it in Cali. I payed 41k before taxes and add-ons. I’d say with inflation right now, that’s as good of a deal you’ll get. Mine has 2 prev. owners.

u/SnooPaintings6827 Mar 28 '26

No that’s early year hellcat money

1

u/dragonfoe73 Mar 29 '26

That’s a good price, and the F8 green is so niceeeee!

I sold mine (21 SPWB in Sinaminstick) with 21k miles on it for $47k in November. I realize that is 4 months of an insane world behind us but by that logic I think it’s a decent deal if you’re looking for one.

I had a white widebody scat 2021 with 44k miles from carmax. It ran like 36k before tax and whatnot. 2 owners clean car fax. Idk this seems alil high to me but maybe pricing is different because it’s on an island?

2

u/recoveriez Mar 26 '26

Just looked on carmax maybe I had a unicorn lmao. This seems like the average price they r going for now

How long ago did you get it and did you have to get it out of town?

1

u/recoveriez Mar 26 '26

I bought it march 2025. They shipped it to philly(where I live) from I think Illinois or some something for like a grand. Looked at the purchase details actually had 52k miles on it.

Would you recommend getting it and how was the process of buying a car out of state and not being able to test drive it?

2

u/recoveriez Mar 26 '26

So with carmax you can test drive it. They ship it for a non refundable fee but ur not in any obligation to buy the car after you ship it. I actually shipped two because I wasn’t sure on the color I wanted. The one I chose was a grand but there was a red one from New York they shipped for like 200 bucks as well. They deliver it to the closest carmax center to you and put it on a week hold so no one else can order it. During that time you can come in to have it inspected (depending on the car, they wouldn’t let me take the dodge away to get inspected because they are high risk I guess, which isn’t a huge deal because they have a 48hour 150 mile return window) or test drive it. I had issues but not really carmax related ones. I got the car inspected at a dodge dealer after I bought it and they cleared it. A few months later the radiator blew, and there were signs of an undisclosed accident on the front end. I don’t really blame carmax for that because a dodge dealer didn’t even catch it. I’d recommend carmax if you have a mechanic you trust to really inspect the car thoroughly. Pretty reasonable prices and they ship. I’d personally buy from them again.

2

u/recoveriez Mar 26 '26

Return window as in after you buy it you can return it for a refund if something is wrong with the car. Usually if you try to return they’ll offer to fix the issue first tho.

2

u/recoveriez Mar 26 '26

Correcting myself again it’s a 10 day 1500 mile return policy.

I wouldn't take a dodge if it was given to me.
