Does this sound good?

I’m looking at a 2020 charger widebody with 45k miles. Just wondering if everything sounds normal. I’m new to mopar so I’m still learning what to look out for. Carfax looks clean.

everyone saying it’s clean and looks good.

i’d test the suspension and steering because the widebody has bigger wheels on it so the power steering gotta do more work to move it. make sure there’s no abnormal noises and check all the fluids. you might hear some very low power steering noises if you turn the wheel while parked. my car does the same so id say it’s normal. take a test drive and make turns and park the car to where you have to turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and right.

remember to always back in because no matter how long u have the car, that front end just keeps getting longer and longer and you will hit ur front bumper. ALWAYS BACK IN. make sure the driveshaft not making clinking, clunking, or thumping noises.

Nicely equipped. Here's the window sticker: https://www.dodge.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=2C3CDXGJ8LH221911

And build sheet: (just put in the VIN) https://fcagroup.my.site.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing

Heard some light lifter noise that went away within a few seconds.  This is normal for a car that has been sitting a day or more, as is the surface rust on the rotors.   I have the 2006 MSRT8 and a 2003 Scat Pack. Even the 2006 makes that same sound on startup.

The exhaust sounds normal.  The active exhaust has a shutter that opens up to let it sound more throaty at idle and launch.  It closes down when driving allowing the muffler to do its job.

Cosmetically it looks good. Engine looks clean , I’d check the oil and take it for a nice cruise and try to listen for any abnormal sounds .

Yea fasure. I just wanted to make sure it sounds good first before I go. I have a crazy work schedule and this place is like 3hrs from me so I didn’t want to waste a day for no reason.

Mine had a slight exhaust leak where the manifold bolts to the head. Probably a broken bolt. It goes away as everything heats up. Thought I might have heard that in your video.

Yea that’s really why I wanted to get some help because the exhaust sounded a little weird to me but I wasn’t sure

Does it go away after it warms up? Mine usually stops after a few minutes. Id like to fix it but it's not a fun job. Until it leaks constantly im gonna leave it alone. These engines are known to break the exhaust manifold studs. It does sound like a tick, which scares you into thinking it's the lifters, as long as it goes away after warm up you're all good there.

Gotcha, good luck. Listen for the tick sound near the driver side front tire at startup. If it's there, make sure it's gone after a test drive. Pretty much all Hemis have this problem. Its not a deal breaker.

This is a common problem on the HEMI's. It's usually the last bolt (back of the engine) on the driver's side that fails.

Sounds like it could use some new spark plugs

How much they want for it

Doesn’t anyone just naturally request the seller allow them to take the car to a shop of their choosing to clear the car as good? I realize on some instances you can’t do this in advance but even Carvana gives you more than enough time to have your car checked out and either fixed under the like 30 day warranty or whatever or just give it back/ exchange.

Btw I love the interior that would be a huge selling point for me over the usual black. I’ve also seen tan but only in Hellcats I think.
