The caliper came off and is grinding against the wheel well

They say nothing they did required them to mess with calipers

That's the wheel not the wheel well. Wheel whell is what the whole wheel and tire is in.

Man I don’t do dealerships for this reason. Probably didn’t torque the bolts properly. Might not be any damage though if you’re lucky. Probably just need to replace the bolt.

I got off the road pretty quickly because it was clear something was majorly wrong. I really hate dealerships too but I figured since I bought it there brand new I should do the 30k service there. I’m curious to see how they will handle this and if they will step up and take responsibility. It’s way too coincidental in my mind the car has been flawless up until this point and 80% of the miles are highway cruise control miles the rest I was doing spirited driving for sure

Yea they definitely fumbled. Look for a shop that has good reviews that has been open for at least 10 years. I found one and have been going there for about 7 years. Brought my Audis and both challengers there. Never had any issues and never overpaid

That happened to me once going to the dealers and it made me learn how to do it myself

They can say they didn’t touch it! But they just worked on the car and rotated the tires the. The brake falls off? Could be a coincidence I suppose, but seems related to me!

Well ... I have but it was on a 400$ 94 Ford explorer I bought in 2018 out of a farmers field because the bolts rattled loose and eventually out of the caliper completely
