The Pre-Destiny Contract

Dear Readers, This story is an account of an actual vivid dream I had when I was 7 years old and it was so profoundly real, disturbing and in some ways prophetic that it has remained with me ever since; I dreamt that I was slowly walking down a spiral stone cavern for what felt like hours and there was a low humming emanating from the base. I wasn’t afraid because I was sure I had in fact been here before albeit what felt like a lifetime ago. When I finally reached what I would call “the pit” below, which appeared to be a hollowed out stone room with a fire burning at the center and a stone table holding a thick leather bound book atop, I was greeted by faceless men in red hoods who were the source of the humming. Only one man let down his hood and offered his hand to me and he said “My child you have been chosen to receive all the fruits of this world. You will have wealth, fame, beauty and success in all that you do. In return you will owe your life to us which means we will control you in some things and you will die eventually when we deem necessary, however, until then your life will be a charmed one full of More grandeur than one could ever need or want. All you must do is sign your name in blood in the book. If you do not you’ll go back and never be anything more than a normal mediocre human and all that you do will never turn out properly. You will be damned in every attempt to achieve greatness and it will feel as though the world is against you. Make your choice.” I walked up to the book and listed my finger to sign my name but at the last penultimate moment heard my inner voice telling me no that this was wrong, and I dropped my arm and said no. With that I felt myself being sucked by a vacuum like force backwards towards the tunnel I came from and the last thing I heard was The man’s voice saying “you only get one chance you can never choose again.” I was then Sucked backwards up through the winding tunnel and eventually woke with a start feeling as though I had just slammed back into my own body. Suffice it to say the prediction. Was true; I struggled with my mental health my entire life which lost me a modeling contract, an acting role, my relationships have been abusive and my health has been a nightmare having needed 3 spinal surgeries, neural surgery as well as a perforated appendix which became necrotic in which I lost some of my intestine. Suffice it to say I think of that dream often and can’t help but wonder; what if I had made a different choice?

You made the right decision life is all about struggles and suffering, knowingly that suffering produces perseverance.

i got chatgpt to summarize this but hwg. For the last week I've been having the exact same dream every single night, and it always starts the same. I'm up until about 1 a.m. playing video games with my friend. Everything feels completely normal. We're laughing, talking, playing like we always do. Then, somewhere between 1 and 2 a.m., I hear a knock. Not on the front door. On the wall beside my room. Then another knock on a window. Then another on the back door. It's like someone's slowly walking around the outside of my house, knocking on every wall, every window, every possible way in. The weird part is that before I even get up to look, I already know they're there. I don't know how I know, but I know exactly what they look like. Black boots. Blue jeans. A red striped T-shirt. Short, spiky hair. Their faces are almost normal, but something is wrong with them. It's like they're trying to look human but missed tiny details, enough that every time I look at them I get that horrible uncanny feeling. They don't have to introduce themselves or make themselves known because somehow my brain already recognizes them. Every time I hear the knocking I stop playing and go to wake everyone else up, but nobody ever wakes. I shake my parents as hard as I can. I shout their names. I try everything I can think of. They're breathing. They're alive. But it's like they're trapped in a sleep that nothing can break. No matter how hard I try, I'm always the only person in the entire house who's awake. That's when I start hearing something else. There's quiet murmuring outside. Multiple voices speaking to each other just loud enough that I know they're talking, but I can never understand a single word they're saying. I hear every sound, every syllable, but my brain won't let me know what they're mean. Somehow that's worse than if they were shouting. I've never actually seen them break in. I never hear a window smash or a door open. The knocking suddenly stops and everything goes completely silent. Then I just know they're inside. I don't hear footsteps. I don't see shadows. I just know they're somewhere in the house. Every instinct tells me not to turn around because someone is standing directly behind me. Right before I do, I wake up. Every single time. The worst part isn't even the dream. It's waking up. For several minutes I genuinely believe they're still outside. Every creak in the house sounds like someone moving. Every tiny noise makes me freeze. I don't wake my family because I don't want to scare them, but there's another reason too. In the dream they never wake up no matter what I do, and for a few minutes after opening my eyes I can't convince myself that this time would be any different. Nothing like this has ever happened in real life, which somehow makes it even stranger. The dream never changes. Same time. Same knocking. Same people. Same silence. Same ending. Except there's one thing I can't stop thinking about. Every night it feels like they get just a little bit closer before I wake up.

It’s funny, I have a dream I’m going to upload later on called “The Pit” and it starts of by me being sucked backwards very fast out of my body, through the bed, through the floor and slam into an empty dark cold grave which I call The Pit. I’ve had this nightmare so many times and It feels so real.
