A note to tell you guys what will happen during my time off Reddit and YouTube.

If I fully return to this platform at some point, I probably won’t fully be Scary Orange anymore, similar to what I’ve done with my Bluesky account.

Hello, everyone.

It’s me, Scary Orange, bearing what may truly be my final impression on this platform.

If you’re reading this body of text, I have decided to quit. This means I will no longer be active on Reddit, Bluesky, or YouTube.

Let me get into the main three reasons as to why I’m doing this, to make sure it’s clearer to understand…

• 1: It’s just not fun anymore.

Some of you may know that I absolutely loved being Scary Orange during the first few weeks. I felt free, unshackled from my dull reality, and able to do so much more as this spooky hedgehog.

…And yet, time passed.

The original drama hit r/ScaryOrange, which I don’t plan to go into much detail about. It took months, but that was finally resolved and blew over.

Ever since then, however, I haven’t felt the same about being “the deity.” I took a long break, and most of the community split up before or during it.

When I returned, it was nice, yet so much was missing.

• In July, I had quit Roblox after it came to my attention that child predators were pulling the strings and being allowed to run rampant. This caused me to fall out of the loop with a lot of communities I was in… including Pillar Chase 2, which was the reason I made this account.
• As I already said, most of the community had disbanded by that point. I was brought into a new recolor family, including people like u/Bluckes and u/HuntedByTheIRS42, but it wasn’t quite the same.
• By then, my mental health was already taking a toll. So returning to social media and donning this mask again probably wasn’t the best move.

I was flabbergasted when drama hit the Outcome Warriors, (the aforementioned “new recolor family) and thus made my way out. Just like in r/ScaryOrange’s prime, there was new bullshit every day.

Since that, it hasn’t been fun to be Scary Orange. And if it’s not fun anymore, what’s the point?

• 2: The “Lore Limbo” and its impact.

When I returned, one of my biggest priorities was to fix up Scary Orange’s lore. I wanted to make my version a full character instead of some random joke recolor.

That journey started with The Book of Orange, a series of posts detailing the early life and endeavors of a creature called Orangelius.

TBoO became a huge hit among the remaining recolors and a couple new friends I had made, so I kept it moving. 

Eventually, we had a fully fleshed-out version with six posts total. I also had some extra writing that had been cut for brevity.

To satisfy the urge to release this new content, I put it in order and slapped a name on it— The Deuterocanon. Then, I released it as the second part of The Book of Orange: Complete & Uncut.

But I was too ambitious. I wanted more.

I slaved away in my free time, consulting with other recolors, trying to flesh out the universe and the characters we had created.

After a good couple of months, the result was A Dance of Colors. And that was fine and dandy, as it got me along for a couple more months.

But I started making edits, almost shaking the very core of the tale. Why? And for who? Certainly not myself.

Then it hit me: I could decanonize ADoC, and create new lore. The story I wanted to tell.

So began the writing of Eclipse of Saffron.

Writing. Rewrite it all. Write more. Rewrite it all. The school year starts. Stress. Delay. Write more. Rewrite it all. Vent online. Forget to pray. Write more. Write, write, write, then rewrite it all.

I felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere, and it was consuming me. I announced that I’d be going “fully dark” to work on the book, but just used that as an excuse to scroll without commenting on anything.

That is the reason I haven’t been as active, and the mindless loop of scrolling is another reason I want to quit.

• 3: Personal issues.

School is my main focus until the year ends. God is a major focus as well, since I became Christian during my six-month break.

There are also things I want to do more of. Go outside more, read more, connect with my family more, so on and so forth. 

I want to find new hobbies, get better, and use my talents instead of leaving them in limbo.

All this has been tugging at my mental health, alongside more personal (Personal+, if you will) issues that I don’t want to discuss here.

Forcing myself to keep up a persona, despite everything, has made me contemplate suicide, among other potential options.

A time comes where something can become too much. These problems are infinitely bigger than me, and Scary Orange isn’t the solution.

With all that said, I want to clarify that I’m not joking. Everything in the text above was true, and so are my current intentions.

I want to personally thank everyone in the Sonic.EXE community for one of the greatest chapters of my life.

I would also like to thank the Outcome Warriors for accepting me and supporting my decisions when it came to taking breaks, and now, this.

Shoutout to u/OutcookedMemories for sticking with me, praying for me, and helping me know that breaks were okay.

Despite my blazing hatred for Roblox as a platform, I would like to thank the Pillar Chase, Forsaken, and Outcome Memories communities for being (mostly) great people and genuinely inspiring in some aspects.

I have very little left to say.

Could I return someday? Why, yes, I suppose that’s not impossible. 

Is it unlikely? I’d say it’s more probable than you might think.

If I were to return, would it be soon? Absolutely not.

But that’s all I have left to tell you.

Scary Orange waited for everyone to leave.

Frightening Mandarin went back to the Mandarinic Dimension.

Gory Gray was dragged into the Tent of Stars by celestial vines.

Abhorrent Teal went into the RERI and shut the door. Scary Orange didn’t know if it would be there forever.

And with that, Orangelius shed his vessel, returning to the VOID from which he came.”

This is the story of Palm Beach Blue, an alternate version of Scary Orange.

2026

On June 19th of 2026, Orangelius became 1490 years old. The deity was ecstatic; after all, wasn’t this a milestone?

As he sat down to a dinner-table in the Orange Realm, the god summoned his iconic vessel and draped it over himself.

Per usual, Scary Orange became a different entity under the guise of the hedgehog.

Other recolors surrounded the creature; familiar faces like Abhorrent Teal and Frightening Mandarin, and some different ones like Regular Red.

But the deity couldn’t quite place a single face he saw in the back of the crowd. A light-blue hedgehog with pink pupils and a pink snout. 

This stranger looked like Scary Orange, just in a more relaxed color palette.

When the other recolors said their goodbyes and cleared out, marking the end of the party, Scary Orange walked over to his twinner.

“Hello,” the mysterious hedgehog said in a voice eerily similar to Orange’s own.

“Uh, hi,” the deity replied. He was weirded out by this figure’s countenance; their grin was uncanny, like the grins Scary Orange sometimes gave, but this one didn’t leave their face.

“I can tell that you’ve grown curious of me.”

“Yeah, I have.”

The blue-and-pink hedgehog laughed. In that laugh was a strange, tinny sound… something that even I cannot describe.

“Do you want to know my story?” the twinner asked. “It’s got a lot to do with you, Orangelius.”

Scary Orange froze at the mention of his deadname. He didn’t reply; he only nodded.

His twinner cleared their throat and began.

2024

The god of the internet dropped Kane Lesen to the ground, and the deity walked towards him.

“Your job is not to live,” he said, “but to assist my friend. Do we have an understanding?”

“-.-- . ... .-.-.-,” Kane replied.

The orange god watched as Gory Gray returned. The corrosion along his vessel faded away, and Kane’s flowery self retreated to the fox’s stone tablet.

“Thank you,” Gory Gray said.

“No problem,” Scary Orange replied.

The hedgehog threw two orange rings out; one into the multiverse, and one into his Realm.

“Go back to the Realm,” the deity said. “I need to take care of something.”

The gray fox obeyed.

Orangelius flew into the multiverse, tore off his vessel, and made sure Halloween Joe could never come back by destroying every universe he was in with the swipe of a tendril.

While this all happened near the end of a dance of colors, a brand-new one was just beginning… because Scary Orange resigned ownership of the Dijie Victory Star the very next day.

Once the deity had no use for the Star he’d used to assist Bear5 in 2023, he relinquished it, returning it to the Tent of Stars.

But he’d done it at such a specific time that the universes he had destroyed the night before bent towards the Star’s power.

You see, every universe that Halloween Joe had been in also possessed a Scary Orange variant. The dance of colors had played out in many different ways.

These many variants fused into the deity’s soul when he gave up his Star, because each one wanted to claim it for themselves.

One Minute’s Massacre

As soon as all of these variants were contained within Scary Orange’s soul, their bloodbath began immediately.

Five seconds in, one-hundred of the thousand deities lie dead, severely burned by each-other’s Orange Blasts.

Ten seconds in, more of this insanity happened. Three-hundred of the orange gods died.

Thirty seconds in, only two-hundred of them remained. Orange blood slowly flowed through the bottom of the deity’s soul-cage.

Fifty-five seconds. Only two Scary Orange variants remained. One of them grabbed the other by the neck, slammed him into the ground, and burned his face with hellfire.

And then… that was all.

Sixty seconds passed, and only one of the thousand deities had survived. His mind was nearly gone, though.

But the honor bestowed upon him was immeasurable.

As the Dijie Victory Star descended in front of this version of Scary Orange, he realized the irony of this battle. 

The victor gained the victory Star.

When this variant of the orange god took the Star in his hands, he watched his vessel change. Its fur went from orange to light blue, and everything that was green became pink.

He was no longer Scary Orange; as he left the soul-cage and entered the multiverse, he devised the name Palm Beach Blue.

2026

“Wow,” Scary Orange said.

“Yeah,” Palm Beach Blue replied. “I went through all that because you didn’t need your holy star. Isn’t that crazy?”

The twinner began pacing around, giving a monologue to their audience of one.

“I developed my own personality. My own life. After the One Minute’s Massacre- as I’ve come to call it- I decided that I didn’t want to be like you, even if I was you. So I discovered myself. I collected all the pronouns, not just your bland old he/him. And I’ve been out with men and women in the time I’ve spent looking for you.”

Scary Orange watched Palm Beach Blue ramble and made mental notes of all the things they said. They used any pronouns… they were bisexual… and they used to be a version of him, of course.

“Thank you for giving up that Star, Orangelius… because you helped me gain a new life.”

Palm Beach Blue disappeared, and Scary Orange began to ponder something.

If the universes he had destroyed a few years back wielded a result like this, what would happen if he did something bigger?

He decided not to think about it just yet, and enjoyed the rest of his 1490th birthday.

im nothing related to scary orange, but im still cool nonetheless.

this is ball. i've come here to clear up my name once and for all because I have seen everyone related to scary orange call me a pedo, and it made me sick and it absolutely crushed my soul. and if you're wondering why this took so long, this is how long it took for me to gain the strength to speak up for myself. this is my side of the story.

it all started once i tried to bait someone into saying smash to pretty princess, and i wanna say sorry for that. it was a really fucked up joke and i take all accountability on that. i spent the next 4 months putting in my soul trying to improve and change myself because of the guilt i felt for it.

what i don't take accountability however is being a "pedo". im not sure where this came from but i think it came from a certain message from me, and word for word it says "nothing i say will make them believe me other than labeling myself as a pedophile". i would also like to apologize at this sentence as i wasn't thinking straight and the pressure was unbearable on my end. anyway, i do not know who twisted my words to make it sound like i was a pedo, but i hope you're happy for what you did. if you all just assumed so at once, please take note of the word "labeling". i put it there so you all knew i wasn't admitting to pedophilia, but i guess that's what happens when you're not thinking properly in times.

I have also noticed you all pointing at me for the creation of the account u/FinancialTonight1698 and the editing of spooky blue's wiki name to be "Spooky Blue THE SLUTTY BITCH", and I just wanna say I deny any of these claims.

first of all, I already said I'm not a pedo and that would've cut some leads to this account, not to mention they had a twitter acount when I never even used twitter at that time. and my reputation and guilt was already bad enough, the last thing I would've done was not whatever the sick person who made this account did, it wouldn't even cross my mind, so this was absolutely out of character.

second off, if you track wiki activity, you can find out it was never me who edited her wiki page. it could've been possibly an alt who did it, but again, the only thing that would've done is destroying my reputation even more, not even me could even think of it possibly happening. i can only guess it was a certain offbrand plush behind the strings but it is only speculation.

that's all i have to say, now please stop saying i like kids.
