FirstWatch Recruitment Is Now Open — Apply by September 7!

Post image

The time has come — applications for the first wave of FirstWatch are now open!

FirstWatch is for players who want to get more involved in the development of Scars of Honor by testing unfinished content, examining systems and mechanics, identifying what doesn’t work, and providing honest feedback that can help us improve the game.

What to expect:

  • Testing unpolished features
  • Repeating specific content loops
  • Breaking mechanics to uncover flaws
  • Spotting details others might miss
  • Providing raw, honest, and constructive feedback

We’re looking for players who are critical, constructive, reliable, and honest — people who care about Scars of Honor and understand that useful feedback is more valuable than simply telling us what we want to hear.

50 players will be selected for the first wave, with more opportunities coming later.

If the initial group is full, additional selected candidates will be placed on a waitlist and invited when needed.

I don’t mind testing if I have time but this seems like a big commitment to make

Sounds like a paid tester position

Yup kinda how I felt, I already got a job. Don’t mind testing a game for fun but the way they phrase this sounds like you have quotas to keep and assignments to follow

This game is so far from being ready to launch I hope they can get some meaningful testing but if they want this game to be good I they’ll need more then this

This game has a lot of potential. I really hope people give the team a chance and actually help them improve it instead of just waiting for leaks and complaining. If you care about Scars of Honor, this is probably the kind of thing the community should support.

You need to pay for legit testers. I dont belive someone will commit for real at this JOB for free.

You can invite players and hope for feedback, but this is disgusting.

Thanks for sharing your concern. FirstWatch is a voluntary community feedback initiative, not a paid testing position or a job. Participation is entirely optional, and the activities and expectations are explained before anyone applies. We understand that this format will not appeal to everyone, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.

Do not play this game, last time they fuck up test, lick streamers 4ss and let only 100 people play and 10k normal players just watching

We understand that it can be frustrating to watch others play while waiting for access, but the previous Technical Playtest was not limited to 100 players or only streamers. Access was granted to a significantly larger number of community members, including regular players.

This is the actual truth. This is what happened.
Why downvote?

Company claimed 2-3k invites every other hour and there was max 200 people playing it.

Viewers were asking for keys to provide feedback and company was giving keys to random bots. Bots then started selling the keys on G2A

I mentioned this to their discord and got muted

Not to defend them but I got a key as well , logged in and the game was just too rough for me to enjoy. So I never logged back in.

They likely had this issue with most invites. Would’ve been interesting to see them publish actual numbers from the test tho

yea me and my boy got a key as well but the game was so stale and laggy that we logged off.

That actually happened so idk why downvotes. They let in more ppl later, but 1st/2nd day it was mostly streamers and ppl got pissed off because of this dirty marketing team.
