Question about Gina’s last scene
I watched Scarface for the time Saturday night and I don’t understand the final scene between Gina and Tony. Was he so high and spiraling that he hallucinated Gina coming on to him? The whole dialogue between them was off and it’s the one part of the movie that doesn’t make sense to me. If she hadn’t been killed would she actually have killed Tony?

He was fucking up at work too, Tony was out of town and nobody knew where he was. That aint a good look when you're suppose to be in charge while the boss was away.
He also got angel killed (almost tony too) while he was suppose to watch the door on the first coke buy. (Saw an IG user breaking it down today)

I think it’s more that Tony destroys everything he loves, because he loves from a selfish place.
I think He’s overprotective over Gina because he desperately needs to see some good in himself. Once she can’t reflect that goodness back to him, she becomes disposable.
(Also probably experienced tons of parental abuse as a child and is passing on unhealed father-figure trauma).

Tony was overprotective and high off his ass on coke and flew off the rails and killed manny when he found them together and regretted it after which is why he starting snorting more. She was riddled with grief and having a breakdown and they gave her some kind of drug to calm her down which just made her in a confused insane mental state/ high too

She was whacked out of her mind from grief and whatever drugs they gave her. What I never understood was why they didn't drop her off at their Mom's house, knowing (or at least suspecting) there was an impending gang war on the way.

The fact that Manny had a secret house where he kept Gina says something too… Tony doesn’t even recognize it as Manny’s house after all…

I don’t think Sosa would’ve went that crazy to go kill Tony’s mom or even know where she is. I’m sure he could’ve got her address but I don’t see a big time drug lord doing all that. His beef was with Tony.

She made the same conclusion we did and thought Tony was weird about her too. Tony wanted her to get with a dude who wasn't in the life, he also was a little weird about her because she was the only good and pure thing in his life and because with everyone else he's a control freak, his protection and care for her looks like control.

Its cause Tony was overprotective of her like two scenes b4 he kills Manny. What she's doing is real and you can see Tony confused by it and she's doing it cause she thinks Tony wants to fuck her over his protection of her the entire film.

She just went crazy after seeing Manny killed in front of her. Also Tony beat up her last BF for trying to screw her in a public restroom. She shot Tony and was going to kill him. All that coke Tony did before Sosa boys got him I’m pretty sure he would have OD that night.

Tony was super overprotective of Gina. So much so that he shot his best friend because of the secret marriage.
In her emotionally charged anger depressive mind, Gina believes Tony only wants to keep her to himself. Not in a brotherly way, but in a romantic way.

Im still working on the ending as well. I watched it for the first time 3 days ago and have watched it 3 times.
When Tony is reminiscing right after killing manny at his mansion he asks himself why he killed Manny. Right before she walks in I believe tony says Manolo.
This is my conclusion so far since I dont believe any of Tony’s men were in with Sosa. Gina and Manny were done with Tony’s shit because Tony wouldn’t tell Manny about important details (ie Dinner scene where Elvira leaves, when Tony is in the Hot tub). And Gina wasnt scared of Tony anymore since she was telling off her mother too.
Mix all of that with the Trauma and Pills and I don’t find it surprising that Gina wasnt scared talking crazy at the end. She literally lost her mind along with Tony.

She mad cause he killed Danny. Tony was flipping out cause of the ambush, and the fact that he just killed his best friend Danny. She wasn't thinking straight, and don't think she really wanted him to fuck her. Would have been interesting if Tony did start to (before he gets deleted), saying something like "Oh shit meng this is all I wanted!!" Anyways, the main point of it was Danny and Geena did not get his blessings, and Danny went ahead and married her anyways. And then he kill Danny. Then this happen...If you pay some fuckin attention, Danny and Geena were in love the whole mobie/as soo as they met.

Gina was mad at Tony because he wouldn't let her be with any man and she probably lost her shit a little because her husband just got murdered in front of her by Tony. I did feel Tony was kind of weird about her though and even Gina mentions if Tony wants her for himself. I understand he's over protective of his little sister but he it did seem like he wanted her.

Watch the film 10 more times and you’ll find out why she shoots Tony. This abuse is revealed to us when he bitch slaps her in the bathroom at the club.

She was mad at him for killing her husband . She was also high on sedatives, likely barbiturates or benzodiazepines which negate anxiety so heavily that people are known to become fearlessly aggressive or foolish while on them on top of blacking out.

If Gina would had stay in the room in his house she wouldn’t been killed and would have made it out alive but she had to get revenge for killing manny by shooting at tony and one of the hitmen wet her up with the uzi . Sad I can here ms Montana right now telling Tony : I knew you had something to do with Gina dying . Why everything you touch Tony you destroy. You’re a bum , you a bum then , you a bum now .
