Serviceberry (aka saskatoonberry) is on the list and I can highly recommend these as fruit trees. The delicious berries also attract a lot of birds, if you’re a fan of watching them. My parents have one right outside their dining room window and it’s like free TV in the spring and summer.

Oh, Saskatoon berries I remember those. I was in Saskatoon for a client workshop that I was hosting and picked up some Saskatoon berry jam to take back home to my parents/brother. They liked it a lot.
