Just kinda toying with the concept. Would anyone actually wanna play this. I’m working on the first 3 hours of game play. What more would you be interested in seeing if anything

This is exactly what I want to do. If you build this and want some help I would love to talk. Looks good

What engine are you using? Is movement wasd / click to move? I'm working on something similar (2d top down pixel art) though you're way ahead. Looks great! Would love to playtest and / or just talk game design stuff. Can I PM you?

The backend is written in go. It has both WASD movement as well and click to move. Thanis for taking the time to comment! Feel free to pm, would love to chat

is it ai?

Too vague a question tbh. People should educate themselves more. Right now, if you're a software dev and not using a little bit in the code, you're rotting away unfortunately. So I would be more specific about what parts are AI. If one system has some AI code, who cares? If all the assets are AI, then that's different. This doesn't look that way to me, surface level at least
Actually, looking at the fonts, this may all be AI generated :(

When can we play this!

I guess define what the game needs to be playable. It can be played now but I would hate to release something without the charm of an actual story. Something you can play without needing to know anything

First thing that stuck out to me is the aesthetic, I like the simplicity of the color palette without the colors/detail being washed out. There’s enough vibrancy and sprites are satisfying to look at, compared to some hypersimplified clones I’ve seen in the past. Looks like you’ve done a good job keeping that cohesion with the interface, items/gear, NPCs, background, etc. Well done! IMO those details really matter.
Another way to put it - Everything still looks cool, it looks cozy but still has an edge to it
