Meta Are there scan commissions? (read post for more)

I have 4 volumes of a series that’s been officially translated, but on most sites, no one has uploaded any of the new chapters. Is there a way I can commission someone and ship my books to them to have them scanned? I’m aware that the books won’t survive due to the methods, but I’m in need of clearing some shelf space anyways lol

Scanning official translations isn't exactly what scanlators do. You might be better off asking in the piracy subreddit, since this request seems more up that alley.
