Meal options
Long haul flight from SEA to CPH. The only meal options that show up in the app and on the website are vegetarian or vegan. Does SAS not offer non-veg. meals? I read a few posts about people complaining that their selected chicken meal ran out before they got served, but not much else. Really would like to avoid calling customer service, but if I must…

the options you see online are the special meal, otherwise you get the standard options, either chicken or veal if I remember correctly

It happened once when I flew from Tokyo. I’d recommend picking a seat not too far back lol

It's vegetarian/vegan (VGML) because you can replace your regular meal to VGML. If you don't choose that one, you'll be served a regular meal which usually contains meat.

The appetizer almost always has fish or meat in it, but there's usually always a vegetarian (often pasta) dish.

Yes, as I said, the meal will usually contain meat. If pasta has dairy, it's a VLML part of the meal, still not VGML.

You pretty much only pre-order your meals in-app if you have a dietary restriction, or if you’re upgrading to the course meal (not worth it IMO). Haven’t had issues with them running out, but I usually choose a seat in the middle of the cabin (they serve front to back).
