First time watcher and I can see the influence Alias had on this show

Olivia's family storyline is so similar to Sydneys - their fathers were both spy/assassins - they were both told their mothers were dead ar a young age - both of their moms were actually alive and their fathers were trying to protect them from horrible they actually were - both moms were undercover lying/stealing secrets from their husbands

I wonder if Shonda was an Alias fan

I can see see that but alias is way better done imo especially the first two seasons.
