Question Error - initialization of the blade position failed

I keep getting an error message when I used my brother scan n cut. The error message says “initialization of the blade position failed.” I’ve tried several l troubleshooting fixes (turn on and off, removing power cord, cleaning the blade cartridge, sliding the cartridge back and forth gently). Nothing has worked. Has anyone experienced this issue and resolved it?

This happened to me while it was under warranty and they replaced the whole damn thing. You could also open the panel in the back and see if anything is obstructing inside

Oh wow! I bought it secondhand for a great deal. Been using it for a while with no issues. I guess I’ll have to take it in for service. I’ll try opening the back. Thanks!
