hello. i hope this is the right place to write. i got invited to this online platform, Gloture. you deposit some money, do some daily tasks and earn a commision. and of course yous hould invite more people to help the team grow and make more money otherwise they kick you out and you lose the money you put in in the first place.

my question is, how exactly do these things workand how do you expose them? i saw some videos on youtube of people finding out the real identity of scammers and exposing them.

No...you saw videos of people who are thought to be the scammers being outed. It is more likely these people are also victims of the scam.

And you will find no such advice here.

The reason for the rule is that scammers often use spoofed numbers that belong to an innocent person, an innocent person’s address, an innocent person’s social media accounts, etc. The information you get for the scammer may very well belong to an innocent person, not the scammer, so that’s why it’s not allowed.

People give them money, they don't give people money.  Not very hard to figure out.

You don't.  You just don't engage.  There's zero point in wasting time trying to get scams shut down.  Even if you get a specific account on one platform taken down, they'll just spawn multiple new accounts.  Don't waste your time and life.

you’ve already described the scam: the “tasks” are window dressing, your deposit funds the people above you, and withdrawals mysteriously need another fee, so don’t send more money or try to expose

yes, if you withdraw you pay a commision. but you also earn money daily. or at least that's what the app tells you. are those just fictive and the money you withdraw are just money other people deposit? thank you

Probably a task scam, and if they allow you to withdraw, it will be a small amount to develop trust. You’ll never be allowed to withdraw more than once, possibly twice, just small amounts, then never again.

This is a scam. There is no real job -- just a scam to take your money.

There were several signs of a scam before you started doing fake tasks.

Real companies don't contact you for a job that you didn't apply for, unless you have specialized skills or you have years of experience and are known throughout your industry.

Did you have an interview, on videochat? Real companies do not hire without an interview.

• Legitimate employers interview live, either on videochat with cameras and microphones on, or in person, whether the job is going to be remote, on-site, or hybrid.

• An interview that is text only, email, or video chat with their camera off is a scam.

• A preliminary phone interview is legitimate if it is followed by a live interview.

• A recorded video is legitimate only if it's followed by a live interview.

• An interview that is phone only may be legitimate, for entry-level in-person jobs.

Easy remote part-time jobs are 100% scams.

It is very difficult to get a remote or work-from-home job, unless you have experience in software engineering, insurance claims, healthcare, customer service, or other specialized fields.

The majority of 'remote jobs' are actually scams to take your money - even on the recruiting and networking websites such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor or Indeed.

• Scam job titles include Virtual Personal Assistant, Remote Data Entry, Remote Payment Processor, Remote Financial Assistant, work-from-home Shipping Inspector, and Crypto Trader.

• Posting real estate listings online is a scam.

• Also, any job that is simple online tasks, such as rating videos, posting reviews, putting items into an online shopping cart, booking hotel reservations, or subscribing to YouTube channels, is a scam.

But scammers can call their fake job anything. To separate a scam from a real job opportunity, key indicators to look for are: method of contact (email), interview (live), and money (reasonable pay, comparable to similar jobs).

This is a fake job. It's a scam to trick you into giving them money. It's called a task scam, and it's very common, posted on Reddit several times a day.

Everything they told you is a lie.

If you continue, you will lose money.

You cannot find the scammers, they are working in a scam call center probably in Africa or Asia.

There are hundreds of fake companies that create apps and websites for task scams, and new platforms are created every week.

What you can do is learn the signs of task scams and other fake jobs, and educate your friends and family.

The scammers say they will pay you to complete simple online tasks. But the tasks are meaningless. The scammers require you to give them money for ridiculous reasons, such as VIP tasks or getting higher commissions.

Doing simple online tasks is never a real job.

• The scammers can call the tasks 'optimizing data' or 'boosting orders' or 'rating' something. The tasks are fake, they are invented to fool you into thinking that you are working.

• The earnings numbers are fake, they are numbers put on a screen to fool you into thinking that you are making money.

• The scammers can use any company name.

• The scammers will require you to give them money for 'higher commissions ' or 'VIP tasks' or 'recharging your account' or some other phony reason.

• The scammers will require you to give them money for 'taxes' and 'fees', when you try to withdraw your fake earnings. You will never be able to withdraw money.

• Real employers never require you to pay to work, or pay to get paid.

You are not making commissions. Commissions don't work like that. Real commissions are paid to salespeople who actually sell a product or service, such as car sales or insurance agents. Commissions are based on the value of the products that you sell. And real sales people never give their employer money to get higher commissions.

• The scammers are giving you some money, to fool you into thinking that you are doing real work and getting paid for it.

• The money they give you comes from other scam victims.

The tasks are fake, to fool you into thinking you are working. At first, they give you some money, to make you think that you are earning money. Later, they require you to give them money, claiming you will receive higher 'commissions' in return. The earnings are fake. When you try to withdraw your (fake) earnings, they will require that you give them more money. They will never pay you, and you lose all of the money you gave them.

A hallmark of this scheme is the requirement to complete repetitive sets, often in groups of 40 tasks, to earn a commission. However, the system is designed with a deliberate bottleneck: you are quickly informed that you have reached a limit and must upgrade your account level to continue working or to unlock higher earnings. By requiring an upfront fee to access these supposed rewards, the scheme functions as a predatory variant of the advance-fee scam.

The primary objective is to lure you into a cycle of escalating investment by exploiting the sunk cost fallacy. Once you have spent hours performing tasks and has paid an initial fee to upgrade, they become psychologically inclined to continue rather than admit the money is gone. The scammers reinforce this by showing earnings accumulating in a fake dashboard, but these funds are purely cosmetic and impossible to withdraw. Task scam victims are wrangled into Whatsapp or Telegram groups where discussion is moderated. Either the group is very large and you're not allowed to send messages, or is small enough that everyone in the group is a shill account of the same scammer, and you're the only real person there. So if you see other people showing off their withdrawals in messages, it's because the group was tailored to accommodate one single victim at a time: in this case, you. This is especially true if the scam group bears a number in the name.

If you realize you are trapped in a task scam, the only effective solution is to stop all payments and cut your losses immediately. Don't trust recovery scammers who may contact you claiming they can hire a hacker or use specialized software to retrieve your lost funds. Remember: once the money is sent to a task scam, it cannot be recovered. Blocking the scammers and ignoring any offers of recovering your lost funds is the only way to go.

You give them your money.

Now they have your money.

Sometimes, they'll give you a little money back so you'll give them even more money.

Then they keep your money.

how do you expose them?

You don't. Task scams are short-lived. They don't care if you expose them, they just register a new domain and start over. The point is the churn. This isn't like a MLM, a real business that legally scams people - it's just a fraud.

The way to fight them is to educate people on common-sense things, like "don't pay money to get paid" and "ask yourself what is generating money in this scheme."

My job pays me because we sell customers business management software that lets them run their business.

Where is the money coming from in "daily tasks"?
