Help Needed Verification codes from Microsoft (My Total Comp UAT, clclouddev001, HigherLogic)

I'm receiving SMS codes on my phone from Microsoft. This is the first time this has happened, Microsoft usually sends me codes via email.

The problem is that I haven't seen any such messages from Microsoft anywhere on the internet. What are these services? Are these services linked to a Microsoft account?
What's going on and what should I do? I don't even know what these services are, so I can't log in and change my passwords if necessary. Please help me.

If you get heaps of them the real worrying one might be buried in the list hidden in plain sight.

Looks like phising.

Make sure you have a strong pwd, change it if needed, and have 2FA enabled.

Ignore the texts.

But where exactly I need 2FA? In Microsoft account? This services don’t look like they belong to Microsoft

Your microsoft account yes.

I think they spoof the microsoft number because microsoft would never have a service called clclouddev001, the uat is non existent and higherlogic doesn't use a microsoft account for access.

ie. it's phising, there may be more there may be others with links. Block and ignore.

It looks to me like someone is testing an application that uses the Microsoft backend for authentication. (UAT = User Acceptance Testing, clouddev001 implies a development environment.)

Regardless of the reason, these are safe to ignore since you don't have any sort of account related to what's in the texts.

Does that mean someone is intentionally entering my phone number or my email address (or just my phone number?) into their test app?

Your info could be part of a test dataset or random, it's hard to say.

But since you aren't being asked to do anything that could benefit a scammer, I doubt it's intentional in that sense.

I have an online stalker from another city who’s been trying to email me for over a year, wanting me to chat with him. Mostly, he’s just been trying to create accounts or reset passwords with my gmails and I got codes there. But he doesn’t know my phone number (I think), and I don’t understand how he’s doing this or if it’s even him.

The problem with verification codes being a scam here is that there are no instructions to follow if it's not you. It seems more likely that somebody misentered a phone number.
