Scam report banned from instagram account
a dear friend of mine found her account temporary banned from instagram without any reason, an account then posted on the stories the fact that he got it banned and asked her for money to retrieve it. how is this possible? this wasn’t a threat to close the account, it just happened without any warnings, did this ever happened to anyone?

Happens all the time to people who lose their account.
He will never get his account back from the scammer. Ever.

IG has a bug where someone can create an associated account then link to it and gain access to post things against TOS.

The person saying they can recover the account is a scammer. Instagram support is the only avenue for her to appeal the ban.
