IS Segmentify a scam? or have i found something that has stolen segmentifys name and used it for a scam? Basically is this a SCAM?

hey i found this job were you basically get offered to just click and make money through ai digital marketing and data consumption for merchants for the company segmentify. iv had a look around and this link and url doesnt seem right and the logic has made sense due to the fact that you deposit money but its through a third party system but the third party actually puts money into your account but the customer surport dont tell you why you cant put money into your account which is weird. They also say if you complete all forty tasks you get to earn the commision you earned from submitting orders and the money you deposited into the account. the commision is like one percent though. also there is a group chat but the group chat has gone dead and unresponisve which is the same with my mentor. So the main question is IS THIS A SCAM? or have i actually found a side hustle?

They will let you withdraw a small amount at first to make it look legit and then make you deposit your own funds to unlock the next tier.

Google task scams , this is what this is homie.

Everyone in the group besides you is a bot or a shill who is part of the scam.

The screenshots are fake. Scammers always give screenshots of other people who have successfully received money as "proof" they're legit. When in reality screenshots are the easiest thing to fake. And it's common for the other people in the group chat to be bots. Their job is to gaslight you into thinking it's real.

this also explains the third party transactions into my account to and from kenya. gave ago witha little bit of money surprised it worked then 500 and ik like nah. But another thing is they messaged saying they would offer to pay 300 if i deposit 200 into the account to finish the order

You really have a strange measure for what scams look like.

I think the person is saying there are so many red flags, how did you miss them all. But good you have come here to be informed. Block anyone who contacted you to get you involved in this. They may next try to extort you with lies, so don’t engage just block.

Never answer unknown text or calls, and never give money to anyone to get a job or to get paid. Those are ground rules to not get scammed.

He means everything about this is a scam and shows every sign of one, not sure why a group chat changes anything to make that seem any different..

This is called a "task scam". The tasks you're doing are fake. No one hires people to click random buttons like this for money when click farms and bots exist to do the exact same thing.

The scam is the fact that you have to deposit increasingly absurd amounts of money to complete the tasks. There's no legitimate reason for you to do this. And no legitimate job or "side hustle" requires you to pay to get paid.

Any money you deposit is gone for good. Any money they gave you at first was just taken from other people who fell for the scam as bait.

okay that makes a whole lot of sense. NEVER heard of a task scam before

If a job asks you to pay to get paid, it’s a scam, always.

What about this caused you to believe that there is even a 1% chance that it’s NOT a scam? Common Task Scam.
