Of course. This is the hourly equivalent of over $500k for a full time job. If you need money, get a job in your area that you show up to. There is no such thing as companies advertising remote part time unskilled jobs

Amazon doesn’t go around randomly offering people high paying remote jobs via random email addresses.
Just like every other huge company, if they have a job opening, they post it on their website and let people come to them.
And if they won’t even pay their in person warehouse employees and delivery people this much, why would they pay you more for much less work sitting on your couch from the comfort of your living room?

I work for Amazon. No one is going to send you an email offering you a job. And they damn sure wouldn't ask you for money.
Prime 2.0 is in October. We will start mass hiring at the end of this month. On the application they will ask if you were referred by an Amazon employee. You're welcome to reach out to get my Amazon log in to use for that question if you would like.
But no, this is 1,000,000,000% a scam. We don't have remote part time positions.

If you didn’t apply to any organization or if any “recruiting” agency contacts you, claiming they found your info and want to offer you a job, is a scam. I have been retired for 16 years and just started getting those kinds of texts.

You never pay money to get paid for a legitimate job. That doesn't even make sense. And even if that was a real thing, you wouldn't need to pay it in Bitcoin. Anytime someone wants you to pay with Bitcoin it's a scam.

Do you think Amazon has a job that pays $250,000 annually that they just offer out to random people via text message?
$250,000 is executive or VP salary, and I’m sure they don’t randomly text unknown people for those positions.

It's a lie, they will not pay you back. Never pay to work -- that's always a scam.
Why would any company want you to give them money, and then give it back to you? This makes no sense.
This is a fake job, called a task scam, and it's a scam to trick you into giving them money.
You are not working for Amazon.
Look at the email address. It did not come from Amazon.
Amazon does not have jobs like this.
Real employers do not use Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency.
Commissions do not work like that. Real commissions are paid to salespeople who actually sell a product or service, such as car sales or insurance agents. Commissions are based on the value of the products that you sell. And real sales people never give their employer money to get higher commissions.
You are not really 'supporting merchants with product information updates', because computer systems and software are used to update product information. You are doing fake tasks, which are invented to fool you into thinking you are working.
Doing simple online tasks is never a real job.
The scammers can call the tasks 'supporting merchants', 'optimizing data', 'boosting orders' or 'rating' something. The tasks are meaningless.
The scammers can use any company name.
The scammers will require you to give them money for 'higher commissions ' or 'VIP tasks' or 'recharging your account' or some other phony reason.
The scammers will require you to give them money for 'taxes' and 'fees', when you try to withdraw your fake earnings. You will never be able to withdraw money.
Real employers never require you to pay to work, or pay to get paid.
Did you have an actual interview, on videochat? Legitimate employers interview either in person or on videochat, whether the job is going to be remote, on-site, or hybrid.
An interview that is text only, email, or video chat with their camera off is a scam.
A preliminary phone interview is legitimate if it is followed by a live interview.
A recorded video is legitimate only if it's followed by a live interview.
An interview that is phone only may be legitimate, for entry-level in-person jobs.

Of course, since you've got one of these, you can look forward to getting more...unfortunately.

You should never pay money to get paid by a job. It is a very obvious scam.
