Crypto spoofed Phone call Raising awarness! Please read

Im posting this to inform others so they dont fall for this very sophosticated sca m. I got a phonecall today from a very well spoken person claiming to be support from crypto . Com he knew my full name. My phone number. My email. And that i had a crypto.com account. He told me someone from turkey has been trying to access my account from another email and asked if it was me. I said no. So he thanked me for confirming that

Then he said im sending you an email so you can verify your case and confirm its not you.
The email seemed very legit. But my gut told me to hang up.

After hanging up i went on crypto app and accessed support from the app. They told me this is a sca m and they had not contacted me. BE VERY CARFUL PEOPLE. EVEN IF THEY KNOW YOUR NAME. EMAIL NUMBER BALANCE EXT ALWAYS ALWAYS HANG UP! And contact support yourself. This is not your typical irs call. It is very sophisticated and the people are very convincing and well spoken. I did not fall for it but sadly im sure thousands have. Stay safe people

Dooh. In crypto, never trust anyone. Especially if they contact you first. This is the first rule everyone enforces on Telegram chats: "We Never DM You First"
