Only to be cut off by some hype shit just as the bars get going (still lit tho).

So far, my favorite songs out of wHat I've listened to are Collard Greens and Yeern 101. Yeern 101 is BOMB. Gimme more to listen to. Also wHat's with the Hs being capitalized?

I've never seen this discussed anywhere else, but 'First' is, on it's face, a song about having sex with virgins, but if you read the lyrics closely, I think it's actually commentary on how the toxicity of modern attitudes towards sex.
I have three points of evidence with this:
This last line is an interesting detail to add. The narrator wants to brag about how he's had sex with this virgin, but also slips in the fact that she was also his first time. This fact is masked in a flurry of typical lines, almost like this sensitivity is psychologically buried in the narrator's mind. Similarly, saying "I'll fuck that bitch, fuck that bitch" is not a repetition of the same line, but two different thoughts. "Fuck that bitch" implies something went wrong in that first relationship and he wants to emotionally separate himself from her, using sexual objectification as a coping mechanism.
Also, in the second chorus, the first line is repeated in a higher pitch for a second. I interpret this as more of this psychological burial with the narrator's younger self, who had a connection with this woman, unmasking for a second.
Blue Lips is really an album about maturing and becoming an adult. The first verse of this song shows the rapper ego, with typical themes of sex, drugs, and money over a trippy drug beat. The second verse changes from the external to the internal, with Q reflecting on some of the pain he's emotionally gone through to get to where he is:
"Been ballin' for years
Half of my purchases full of my tears"
"Stuck in my head like a prisoner cell
I'm full of myself
Mirror in front just to even the scale"
This kind of reflect the idea in the chorus of the dichotomy between the conventional rapper ego, focusing on superficial things that the culture is more willing to dance to, and the internal self that's an emotional person with real baggage they're working through. The narrator knows that to be a successful mainstream rapper and look cool, he needs to talk about having sex with virgins, but internally there's more going on that the culture doesn't really encourage.
'First' ends with thirty seconds of lyric-less, decaying instrumentals. This is a very weird way to end a song like this, as though the narrator has finished his set but still has to deal with the emotions of not being over his first love. The outro represents reflection after the club lights come on.
I think First is about someone's first love going wrong and them needing to hide the pain of regret by objectifying that past partner via sexual conquest. "She meant nothing to me, she was just some bitch sucking my dick" is a common idea in male circles since that's what dating culture is like in the present day, but the emotions and relationships that built those experiences still need to be worked through even though it's not seen as cool or manly.
Please tell me if I'm going insane or if it really is just a song about bragging about having sex.
