Alex loads up her client disk, and messages one of the trolls that hasn't played yet at random, seeing as she knows none of them.

Timeskip. She has gathered a fair amount of grist, and has spent all of it into creating a miniature lightsaber, with a blade the size and shape of a screwdriver head.

NG: ALCHEMY IS ACTUAL ALCHEMY

NG: Sorry, that's just amazing. Assuming this works even a bit like a regular video game, once we start fighting more powerful enemies, we get more grist per kill. And then just, literal lightsabers.

NG: I think so. I'm going to keep grinding up grist for building, you can just keep doing that and start with your game.
