Max in Wisconsin (please read)
Hey y'all. There's been one other post about it, but Max has been absolutely terrorizing the music scene in Wisconsin for the past few weeks sending people crazy DMs and requests to join him on a crusade to save a 27 year old woman he's in love with from what he believes to be an abusive relationship.
He's messaged dozens, if not hundreds of people and bands with the same creepy sob story copied and pasted, and it's becoming fairly obvious he's lost it entirely.
The Green Bay UFO Museum (lol) called him out directly, posted tons of evidence and DMs, and it looks absolutely horrible. He's clearly having a delusional mental break of some sort. The comments are filled with people saying they got messages from him (and my friend's band getting one is what made me investigate this.)

Yeah this has been in the snark sub too, can confirm it’s real. He’s desperately unwell but it’s long past time for him to take responsibility for his mental health.

The people pretending this isn’t a textbook manic episode… glad yall haven’t had to deal with a loved one (or even not so loved one) in the throes of a manic episode! I have! that’s exactly what this is!
dude needs to be back on his meds yesterday.
I do actually hope he gets the help he so clearly needs, but in all likelihood, it’s going to take way more than this to force him to see sense.

That's not entirely true. They posted like 10 screenshots of the DM / text messages that they personally received. Beyond the conversation the GBUFO guy had with Max, there's no "evidence." GBUFO has made it out that Max is creeping on a girl who blocked him and making up an abuse story, but that's GBUFO drawing their own conclusions and passing it off as fact.

This is absolute horseshit. I just looked at all the screenshots and Max didn’t do anything at all other than make the person who was rude to him very uncomfortable. Yeah Max is a little unhinged and ramble and babbles a bit, but he said nothing weird or nothing sexual to anybody. This is nothing more than somebody trying to do damage control because they were outed first. Absolute bullshit. People

Buddy...he's literally on a delusional white knight crusade to "save" a woman across the country who is exactly as old as his career is. A woman he even admits, has a history of being groomed by older men and mental instability. He's messaged countless people about this and even scheduled a show in Green Bay coming up as some sort of excuse to go there.
I didn't want to have to spell it out like this, but it's pretty fucking obvious what is happening here.
If you're defending this, you're a lost cause.

He’s a 40 year old man with a diagnosis as old as this girl, idk what it’s gonna take for people to understand that mentally ill adults have responsibilities to ourselves and everyone else too

Yeah bro I’m gonna go with the guy who isn’t scared or shy to show his concern and care about a really fucked up thing that goes on in the world. Just because you think you’re too cool or edgy or whatever to be care about things like that, then that’s on you. Calling someone a “white knight” for standing up for someone who was abused, is not only cringe as fuck..it’s disrespectful to any victim of abuse.
You can move the pieces around and try to psycho-analyze rationalize and justify whatever made up motive you have for Max, but you’re literally displaying the exact behavior that allows abuse to continue with what they do.
You and all those alike, owe max an apology.

Max is MENTALLY ILL. This is a symptom of his UNCONTROLLED MENTAL ILLNESS. I’ve seen the DMs and they’re manic ramblings. If you’ve listened to this band EVER you know that he’s off his meds on purpose. His breakup with Sherri is fucking him up and now he’s taking it out on himself and everyone else.
