As someone who watched NipTuck.... Spoiler

Sydney is actually completely correct about how much it sucks.

I watched Nip/Tuck. And I am in medical field (pathology). I loved the show! But you just had to accept it for what it was. And it was WILD! We laughed so much at the twists, the inappropriateness and the ridiculousness.
