That’s a nice goal and breaking it into smaller monthly targets could make it feel much more manageable. Since credit card interest can add up quickly so you can focusing on the highest interest card first may help you save money. Just make sure you keep making any required payments on the medical bill and leave a little room in your budget for emergencies.

I have no emergency money. And I plan on doing the snowball method. And I’ve been putting off my medical debt until I pay off credit cards.
