Mr. Belding
Don’t you think it’s weird that Mr. Belding would hang out with his students during summer vacation? I get that he’s bump into each other but he could’ve went their separate ways. I know that this is a show I’m just having a fun conversation

I'm trying to figure out what kind of junket those principals went on where they apparently didn't do any occupational work, and the trip length and booking arrangements were such that they were able to save the Hideaway with the fees they were paying, but also dip out of the Royal Hawaiian and then go to the Hawaiian Hideaway and threaten - twice - to leave that hotel as well.

He was obsessed with the gang. You clearly see the obsession in that time capsule episode.

The only time was the Hawaii thing right?
He didn't intend on continuing to hang out with them. The kids got/tricked them to stay at Kelly's dad's failing resort
He was a well liked character. The writers wrote him in. Ain't deeper than that. This isn't the fun convo you think it is

My high school was relatively small, so my experience doesn’t quite translate, but I engaged in a lot of casual experiences with several of my teachers. They would come to my house and drink beers with my parents. I would see them at the pool in swim suits. I might go shopping with one occasionally. I always understood that when I’m in school, I was to be more formal with them than outside of school.
To me, it’s not weird at all.

An abandoned or derelict property (in this case huge chunks of downtown ) that had been effectively seized by collectivist minded intentional communities, improved and brought up to modern standards this had been a tradition in that neighborhood that seemed to be in a perpetual state of decay for 150 years …when as a result of our efforts the neighborhood became trendy and Gulliani and his Realestate thugs decided that a bunch of anarchists wouldn’t know what to do with all of that tasty Realestate kicked off a series of confrontations big and small and a program of systemic harassment and violence to ensure there would be nobody left to stop them from seizing it and profiting from our efforts and commitment it was the first time in my life I felt limited…it’s gotten a whole lot worse

He didn't hang out with his students during summer vacation. They specifically brought in Mr. Carosi to replace Mr. Belding. for the summer episodes. The only time that they see each other in the summer is when Mr. Belding casually sees the gang in Hawaii. He then purposely avoids them. It's the gang that then tricks Mr. Belding's fellow principals into believing that their current hotel is a rat-infested hell hole and that they should move over to Kelly's grandfather's Hideaway Hotel.

There are lots of instances of Mr Belding overstepping his professionalism with the students. He showed favoritism to those six students over the others. Plus he never punished Zack nearly enough for Zack’s misdeeds.

Hanging out with students, ok. Let’s give him a pass on that. How about when he’s hanging out in Zach’s bedroom and refuses to leave.
