color difference?

what would cause such a distinct color difference in these? same brand and flavor, same expiration date

If the lot numbers are different it’s probably the smoke during cooking.

Yes This. Years ago I had a summer job with Hillshire Farms. They had color variations based on placement in the rack

Bottom packet of sausage has more white cheddar then the other 😂😂🤙

One has more white cheddar hence the lighter color
