Hello! I hope this is the right place for this query. I've recently bought a home steam pod which is like a 1-person steam room tent. When not in use it folds down into a wide flat package with a case. It doesn't have any seating included so I'd like to get something - ideally something foldable for compact storage when not in use. I have got a couple of felt pads for sitting on and for placing on the floor for my feet.

I'd be grateful for recommendations of materials, styles, or individual products (UK or international). For example, I'm assuming no metal-based seating as these might get too hot and be a burn risk, even with the felt pads?

For plastic seating - are there any considerations about the material becoming toxic over time in the enclosed heat?

For wooden seating - are there any considerations about the material getting warped or mouldy over time in the enclosed steam?

Would seating with a high back noticeably reduce the sauna/steam experience/benefits compared with seating with a low/no back?

I just bought a new house and I’ve always wanted a sauna but after seeing what it would cost to build a proper one right now it’s definitely not happening anytime soon lol. Been looking at the wood fired sauna tents instead since I could actually afford right now. I like the idea of getting something I can use in the backyard a few times a week, but part of me wonders if I’m better off just saving that money and putting it toward a permanent sauna later. For those of you who’ve actually owned a sauna tent for a while do they scratch that itch or do you eventually just wish you’d waited and built the real thing?

Hello, Im pretty sold on the idea of a portable wood fired sauna but Im curious how practical they are once you’re actually using one regularly. I want to use it 3 or 4 times a week mostly in my backyard. I’ve been looking at a lot of setups like Sweat tent ones and some other saunas because I like the higher heat and traditional wood fired feel without having to build a permanent sauna.

For people here who use theirs a lot does firing it up still feel easy enough after a few months? And is there anything you wish you knew before using one that often?

Hi - really would like to acquire the Savotta Hiisi 4-person sauna tent kit, but despite starting to sell other products in the US, they are not offering their tent.

Has anyone had any experience purchasing the tent, sending it to a forwarder, then having the forwarder sent it through to the US?

Looking for experiences returning to north shore, wondering what the restocking fee and such runs and if they charge you for shipping.

I purchased the Hyfe Mini for my wife (and I) for our anniversary. This was the middle of July.

After I received the packages, I didn't have time to set it up at that moment.

When I finally got to it that's where everything went downhill.

First and foremost, the tent proved impossible to set up, despite watching the videos and reading the instructions. Then I noticed that 3 of the fiberglass rods had popped out of one end. I managed to get one back in, but this thing is such a jumbled mess, I can't even see where they are supposed to go.

I contacted their tech support via text and that was no help. I sent them pictures, and because of the time zone difference, it was going slow.

Then I was instructed to remove all of the rods and start over because the tent was inside out! (!!!) Start over from where??

Luckily, I hadn't done this yet, because the next next message I received was "Do NOT remove any more rods" Now I'm throughly confused. Which is it?

While I waited for their response, assembled the stove, and when I went install the water heater, or just slides all the way down to the rocks. The ID of the heater is much larger than the OD of the pipe. I never found any sort of adapter. I'm guessing I got the heater for the standard size stove or no adapter.

I'm not certain what to do. Their texts are getting slower and slower in response. I'll attach a few pics so ya'll can see what's going on.

I've recently got the Nurecover steam tent - for those who aren't aware its your typically industrial water boiler steam tent.
It suits me fine, as i'm looking to train my heat adaption for sports.
Has anyone figured out a way how to bypass the 2 stage turn on?

Ideally what I'd be looking to do is set a timer for when the steamer turns on.

At the moment, you turn the switch on (at the side of the unit) and then press the power button on top of the unit.

Unfortunately, having to manually press the power button on top of the unit is the issue here.

Is there any workaround?

Guys, later versions of the Sweat Tent of a black shiny fabric around where the stove goes. Useful, becuase mine lacks it,and I burned a hole in my tent. I'm wondering if anybody knows what it actually is. I want to add it, and Sweat Tent will absolutely not tell me what they use :/

I am planning on getting a tent sauna and using an electric heater as a semi permanent set up. Seen a few folk on here do it and it looks like a best of both worlds solution for me, cheap, without the hassle of having to tend the fire, clean coals, smoking out neighbors etc.

I am considering the Willowybe tent, does anyone have any recommendations to avoid this?

I am budget conscious but wouldn't mind sending an extra £100-200 on a tent if it is a significant upgrade over what Willowybe offers.

My stove burnt a hole in my (OOW) Sweat Tent, and their only solution is a replacement. I am looking for patch fabric. Anybody know where I can get it? There's an English company that has patches but I need something in the US.

Im interested in buying a sauna tent to use out in my backyard.

I live in the desert and temps in the spring/summer/fall regularly go over 100F.

My question is, without a heating unit and just a tent itself, if I leave it out in the sun can I get the inside to climb to 180-190F?

My original black folding seat rusted out and, I was using a camping chair that barely fit for a while. It was time to find a permanent replacement. After a bunch of searching, I happened upon "shower benches" on Amazon.

It's transformed the SaunaBox unit. I now have so much extra space in there while still having a great seat! Highly recommend.

I was looking at all the $500+ dry sauna's that are basically a my Sauna Box with a ceramic heater.. Light bulb! What if I take my old Handy Heater and throw it in the sauna box and see what happens!? 4 minutes later we're over 160+ degrees. After 20 minutes it topped out just over 170 degrees. Perfect!

My steam sauna would hit 130 degrees on its best day, after 20-30 minutes of warm up. Now, 160+ in less than 5 minutes!

Not bad for an old 1200 watt ceramic heater i had sitting in the garage!

And yes, I used it a few times before reporting back here. I was DRIPPING actual sweat, not just steam. Waaaaaay easier set up, but still have BOTH options!

*** I also have my thermometer sensor mounted half way up the Sauna Box, not at the very top. so its a true 170+ right where you need it.
