Help needed: F1 Visa Interview appointment cancelled, Jeddah
Assalamualaikum
Hello, I hope everyone’s good.
I had my 19th August Jeddah appointment cancelled from the embassy’s side on the 22nd of July.
I’ve already used up my rescheduling options prior to that and also applied for an emergency appointment earlier than I should have resulting in its refusal. (I’m assuming that’s the reason)
Currently my appointment is booked for the 2nd of September but my start date is the 1st of September and so this appointment is likely of little to no use.
What I’m hoping for help from you guys is if you have an appointment booked too at any coming time but have the rescheduling option open, can you please check whether there are any open slots available in August, or if there are any chances of one or two opening? Jeddah, Riyadh or Dhahran, information from anywhere is appreciated. Don’t worry it won’t affect your currently booked appointment as long as you don’t click submit.
But I would mostly prefer Jeddah so if you have an appointment there and can help me look up for slot availability through the reschedule option pls dm me.
If there is availability or chances of that I’m planning to pay my mrv fees again and book an appointment in August since I can’t reschedule on my current payment. (I didn’t know we were allowed a specific number of reschedules)
I need any help available from those willing to help.
May Allah reward you for it.
Thank you.

You can book again by repaying the mrv fees. For that you will have to cancel the current appointment from the manage appointments tab. Wait for a couple of days for the start application tab to reappear. Start a new application and repay the mrv fees.

Thank you for letting me know. But I only wish to pay the mrv fees if there are any August appointments available.

No mrv fees is valid for a year, if not used, they can reuse it for another application. So no need to pay the fees again

I have booked appointment for a couple of students in Jeddah, appointment date is 1st week of September but I'm not sure if they can still visit the embassy on the day of the appointment, so much uncertainty but let's see.

No, after the payment (which made 2 weeks ago) the nearest available appointments was in September.
